Mikayla Johnson scored three second half goals in about a six-minute for PNG, who clinches at least a share of the 38-4A championship. Hannah Higgins and Bailey Tran scored the other goals for PNG.

Both Westbrook and Port Arthur Memorial have a ton of talent. If they were overlooked they missed some great kids...

They do have several very good players they just cannot keep their cool... Good team.. Bad attitude. Ref did a great job showed a lot of patience. Showing himself again as the top ref in our area. In my opinion...

Going to be a great one at the reservation. PNG looking to even the score with the bears after the Indians were upset by the bears in the district opener.... A must win for the Indians if they have any hope of a district championship...

Congratulations to the Kelly boys soccer team for winning their 6th straight District Championship tonight as they beat St. Thomas 2-0.

It was a great game that went into overtime tied at 1-1at the end of regulation. Both 10 minute OT's were scoreless and then the shootout. HJ made their first 4 shots and Jasper missed twice and the game went to the Hawks. Glad were getting healthy again, should make a good run the second half of the season.

I don't see PNG scoring 3 goals on Nederland. They haven't given up more than 2 goals yet in district. I think it's a 1-0, 2-1 game at best. Hard to say who comes out on top, though. I think Nederland 1-0 if I have to choose.

Both teams are solid and there playing styles are different.  The outcome will be determined by which team can impose their style on the match.  Either way, it should be a good match.

The owner? If the owner does not know the amount of traffic the soccer forum had before the nth rebuild of this site, I can understand why it keeps going down. So, in reality, the owner is just playing a little game to see how whiny those who frequent the soccer can be for hos kicks. Otherwise, the OWNER would simply add the requested forum (which was there before the crash).

I am trying to understand why we cannot have individual boards for these sports... Is the site now limited by the number of subforums it can have? 

LCM won 2-0. So now there is a tie for first between them and Nederland.  Both are 5-1.  PN-G is a half game back at 4-1-1 after their 5th consecutive shutout.  Defense has not allowed a goal in over 420 minutes.  HUGE game Tuesday at Bulldog stadium!!

The Indians have outscored their opponents 47-8 this year.

Why does any sport needs its own forum? Why would you show preference to one over the other? Football obviously is the big dog. Other than that basketball,softball,volleyball,soccer,track,baseball, are all secondary sports in tx. To me it propagates the mentality in our culture that you are better than others if you play certain sports or activities over another. Typical Friday night lights hs sport fan mentality. Sad...

Lumberton Varsity Girls Soccer versus Hardin Jefferson at HJ last night......in the rain, in the cold, in the mud.....Lumberton wins 6-2.  Lumberton scorers were Kennedy Hardy-3, Shay Mitchell -2, and Macy Mitchell -1.  After watching all my children play soccer for more than 16 years...... last night's game has to be the most miserable game ever.  Both teams played hard, slipped and fell continuously, and laughed at each other. I even saw one referee slip down! It was so cold and wet. Hardin Jefferson scored first in the game which got everyone's attention. I thought HJ played well and am curious to see what will happen in round two of play.....hopefully on dry ground. HJ's goalie made several good plays to keep Lumberton from scoring more.
