assuming relatively even distribution in Crosby ISD a highly liberal estimate of Crosby is 1991 according to COVID dashboard. I think this is the maximum that the HS Enrollment could be because it assumes equal distribution of students amongst all grades. I think there is an extremely high chance Crosby stays 5AD2 this go around.

are there two Crosby Freshman teams? Was it A vs A or ?

it's fun to hate on BH but I think they will actually pull this one out. I know I previously meme'd about a 4th quarter collapse. I think this one might be a bit too much for the dogs. BH played toe to toe with both Crosby, Paetow, and PAM until the 4th quarter at least. That's a sign of a lot of talent. I think the kids learned two weeks ago that shouting at refs and getting your QB thrown out loses you games. I don't think BH loses versus PNG had they not literally got their QB thrown out of the game. That being said Nederland has not looked very good at all this year. 2 points versus TC? Needs a comeback to beat Silsbee? I don't think BH is particularly good on defense which will matter less if Nederland cannot figure out how to play offense. I think BH offense will score a fair chunk on these dogs, and I think Nederland will need to really turn the corner offensively to win. That being said too many if then statements for Nederland. I'll take BH by 7 and they hold on for the victory. 35-28

is Winner of Angleton-Foster basically the 4th seed? or does one have two difficult opponents left?
-
if they could just shut up and not get thrown out of games they'd have a better chance. They are the Doc Rivers + CP3 Clippers of Texas High School Football.
-
it's more likely then you would think FBISD is aggressively disenrolling students who don't show up to school and or haven't been seen since online learning. Simultaneously, there are calls weekly in the district about historic levels of presumed truancy.

Why we talking about Hill aren't they 0-2 against the teams involved in this game? I'm ready for the reservation including plans to eat before getting there... because.
-
good luck hillians.
-
Nah, I got something else... SCOREBOARD!
-
Fear not Cougars i will make my appearance at this game. I'm running a Cougar 14 game win streak with myself in attendance (didn't attend title game or the Nederland game last year sorry guys.) I also am on a 3-0 Cougar over PNG at the reservation winning streak. Last time I saw PNG beat the Cougars was Stallworth tho so...

You know what I've noticed with all the stats? they never mention Yard per carry, Yard per attempt, total attempts, Crosby and PNG has the same offensive numbers and Crosby starters have 60% of the number of plays of PNG.
-
NO, BH played a heck of a game. They had a very good game plan and fell apart at the end. How'd that MCM game go for yall again? Wasn't it "Faircloth doesn't lose to Nederland's new coach" and "he's not Neumann" before that one? Seems like that chief is still living in 87.

Hmm, why does it leave out score margins I wonder? We had the same yards as PNG against Dayton, yet played one half with starters and had 3 non-offensive TD's. Crosby played back ups for entire halves against two of those teams. I love the mental gymnastics PNDN's need to do to try and make this seem like an even game. If they win it'll be a huge upset, if they lose it'll be expected. Game comparisons especially this one is definitively an act of futility. Just like people talking up TC last week. we can see what you do on the field, anyone pretending PNG's defense is in the same ballpark as Crosby is smoking the good stuff. I think highly of PNG's offense, but when you can't stop people you have a hard time beating high quality opponents.

that ones clearly into crystals.
-
Those look like year totals not district totals. Crosby's year totals are 1367 yard on 83/150 for 17 TD's and 1376 on 258 carries for 21 TD's.
-
Not different enough.
-
Just looked it up. Prieto makes more than I thought he did.
-
agreed about Bh game... like why is Bh throwing the ball deep against a soft cover 4...
-
to think we bought a state title run for under 250k total.
-
everyone is beatable, but I'll eat a crow if yall manage 400 yards rushing.
-
In district Crosby brings a nearly perfectly balanced offense to bear. 54-86 for 965 yards and 13 passing TD's 135 rush attempts 879 yards and 14 rushing TD's That's exclusively in district play according to max preps, NDN's do not do their stats in maxpreps. anyone got PNG, I know Trahan has been a key weapon.
-
who the heck knows... I'm going to take Nederland for only one reason. Early in year they had several come from behind victories, and BH is ripe for come from behind victories (see PAM, Crosby.) I genuinely think BH is better team but their discipline and mental game is weak sauce. Nederland has those two levels on lockdown.
-
Do yall have the ability to replicate that BH o-line? I don't think yall go into this game thinking we are going to run the ball for 400 yards if you do this one will be over by half-time.
-
Only thing I worry about in this game is Fatigue. Our starting wide-outs play safety, PNG has shown the ability to throw deep on basically every play. More run plays called bigger win for the cougars in this one. I think we will maul PNG at line of scrimmage on both sides. However, we have shown inability to cover good deep ball throwers and good underneath gameplans. I take the cougars by 28 but think we give up a lot of points and have to skate away in the 3rd quarter/4th quarters. 57-28
