had Crosby not thrown three picks on the other side of the field, and fumbled it on the KP side of the field. That's not what happened and KWP is KWP because they don't hit those shots very often. Also I never play the what if game... thats for the silly folks to play. Crosby has 1 district loss and the tie-breaker for 2nd in district right now. if BH beats Porter good for them, if Porter beats them good to them. Crosby was missing two d1 athletes for that game with an inexperienced quarterback who at times looked like the moment got to him (having 2 chances to win the game with a solid drive.) The Defense played poorly and got lit up (first time this year.) So yea we lost they controlled the ball played an incredible game, extremely well coached, #2 is a stud, Their QB can sling it. After all is said and done They have to repeat that performance against BH which will challenge them in different ways than crosby. Then they have to do it against NC which will again challenge them in a different ways. Great win for Porter Bad Loss for crosby. Crosby played another bad game versus KWP (with Manny.) But... we are 3-2 with losses to Manvel and Porter and 1 district loss will not keep us from winning a district title unless Porter finds a new defense in this second half of the year.

Correct me if I'm wrong but realistically doesn't Dayton need to Win out to make the playoffs? Like a loss to Porter or Crosby would be 1-4 in District. Do we think a 4 district loss team will make the playoffs?

Possible but more than likely it'll be the Crosby NC game because it happens last game of season. Porter has a lot of work to do. Don't they have BH/Dayton/NC left to play?

Dunno BH has to play Porter and NC both tough games Crosby has NC/Dayton left and the tiebreaker. I'd prefer Crosbys position. Just sayin. I think he's hoping he doesn't have to play the cougs hints his prediction.

Hints it might have been an aberration. Crosby is of very little risk right now 1 District loss when your down your best 2 weapons and you lose with a sophomore at QB. The rest of the district doesn't get to play that team. Also Porter's Passing attacks is very good reminded me of NC last year. NC will be a huge test for crosby. I always expect the Dayton game to be close but not because i think Dayton is all that good this year just because it's a rivalry. Crosby Has KWP, NC, Dayton, CC, splendora Left on Schedule 3 of those games the Cougs would be a double digit favorite. One is a push and the other is a TD favorite.

As i see it... Porter, Crosby, Barbers Hill, New Caney, Splendora, Dayton, Humble seem to be in a deadlock. NC/Crosby/Porter/BH seems to be the favorites for the 4 spots but Dayton, Humble and Splendora cannot be counted out. Porter could have had an aberration versus Crosby but the trucked KWP this week. Honestly I'm not even saying my cougars will win district hell i could see us finishing 3rd if we don't take care of New Caney, and Dayton will always play us tough. Porter will be 6a in the next realignment, New Caney might also be. This is a good district this year.

Nope i just think Nederland isn't very good this year. They looked pretty terrible in the scrimmage and they were jumping the snap count so.... I just think Dayton might be a bit too much of a one trick pony. Maybe they need some of those JV kids.

We don't have numbers to go by but Craig Williams from Crosby is an absolute monster. His numbers won't look like Nichols but that's because he played Manvel and Heights which have stellar defenses. He tore apart BH though.

I think the 9-10 in the 6a-5a poll might show we are having a weak year in SETX.

So I THINK the only teams smaller than Crosby are BH and Dayton might have changed we are growing quickly. Everyone else is bigger so if both bh and dayton make playoffs we are d1 no questions. Also just a note official reporting numbers are gonna be interesting this year.
