Another regular season has come and gone... some teams did better than expected.... some as they were expected... others did a faceplant.... I come to you today letting you know due to my unknown work schedule over the next few weeks I will not be doing the first 2 rounds of the Playoff Pick ems.. I also want to apologize for the errors in my record keeping in the final few weeks of the season. I try to run a tight ship and keep the decks swabbed and the sails at full mast... this year with a heavy workload I have let down my fellow Gridiron companions and for this I am truly sorry... I shall hone my skills over the off season and try to be more efficient and faster next season... as the Black Pearl limps off into the abyss to find a dry dock to lick her wounds... know this.... She will be back... She will have the same tenacity, the same mystery.... the same trickery up her sleeve come August 2015.... we may be battered and bruised ... but you will never sink us!!

45 minutes until lock down... 

Finished up my 14 hr nights this week on Wednesday... and been a lot of catch up on sleep... I apologize for not having the standings posted as of yet... will have them up hopefully sometime in the AM tomorrow... I hope you understand... 361 hrs in 4 weeks takes its toll on a body.. ;-D

I think they are as equally as worried with one another... of course WO-S is always going to be a thorn in your side... but after seeing HJ put up a win against a team such as Tatum it does seem to raise an eyebrow or two that you have something that works... and works well... I guess on Halloween Night.... we shall See at Hawk Stadium.... Should be a show stopper... a barn burner... a down to the wire.... some last second heroics.... This is where Coach Dubius and the Hawks try to put the DOT above the I and the Slash across the T....

So the coach wanted him to choose football practice over after school detention? Is that what I am reading... or am I reading it wrong... He left practice to fulfill his punishment and in turn has been removed from the team?

Are the guys listed only the ones who've been doing it every week?

The new AD/HC at Diboll is a good friend of mine... his first AD/HC job was at Orangefield and was at Coldspring last year... he is a good coach... I wouldn't be surprised to see him make some noise up there in the next couple years.... I will be keeping an eye on this District... just to see how he fairs against his old school C-O....
