  2. If your team is definately not going to play in february and march, you guys can sign up & i will place you guys on a team from your area.  However, we are not going to let a bunch of kids from one select team stay together.
  3. If your select team isn't participating in the tournaments, then you guys need to talk to your team & coaches.  The spring training league is for kids that don't have that option and would like to get some swings in before their tryout and league seasons.
  4. Yes, it will run just like the fall league.  Kids will be allowed to request coaches & i will allow groups to stay together as long as the teams stay fair.  No kids from select teams will be able to play, because they are going to playing tournaments, so this will be a true rec league. We want just want to give kids a little head start for their tryouts and league seasons.  I will hopefully have registrations and details up soon.  We are going to shoot for a 8-10 game schedule, starting in February & wrapping up in Mid March.
  5. Still spots available.  Please pre-register so i can order all the correct shirt sizes.  thanks.
  6. No, this is going to be a rec league.  Many of the games are going to be on tournament sundays, so we are going to make this league strictly for little league, pony leagues, etc to prepare for their league seasons that start in mid-march. If any select teams would like to play midweek games that count towards your Nation's points, just let me know and i'm sure we can set it up.  You would just need to pay for the field and umpires.
  7. The baseball academy will be putting together an early season spring training rec league for everyone to get ready for their upcoming seasons.  The league will start in February and wrap up in mid March.  We are finalizing the details, but it will be around 10 games (3 sunday DH's) & 4 tuesday or thursday games.  It will be run very similiarly to our Fall League.  I will get everyone the registration info and details as soon as they are final. Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving. Jason Tyner
  8. We also have a silent auction going on now, to view the items, go to our website, www.setexasbaseballacademy.com .  We will have another live auction going on at Ford Park the day of the camp. thanks

  11. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for a great fall season.  Coaches did a great job of allowing everyone to play all over the field.  Baseball is always supposed to be fun & all the coaches & parents did a great job of it.  It was very enjoyable for me to watch these kids grow.  Thank you from everyone at the baseball academy. Jason Tyner
  12. I have had some questions on tiebreakers.  We count a tie as 1/2 win & 1/2 loss, so 6-2-2 is the same as 7-3.  Seedings were then based on fewest runs allowed.
  13. All fall league brackets are posted for Sunday's championships.  Every team will compete for a championship.  Coach pitch has 3 division championships, Minor Leagues have 5 divisions & Major Leagues have 4 divisions. www.setexasbaseballacademy.com
  14. The Baseball Academy is only going to be running Nations events.  We will have our schedule out soon.
  15. I just posted 4 new tryouts and i will try to update them daily. thanks. Jason
  16. Coaches, please let us know if you guys are having tryouts or looking for players.  I get kids every week looking for teams.  I will post your info on our website, www.setexasbaseballacademy.com . email me at [email protected] . thanks. Jason Tyner
  17. Still waiting on you to post your name.  Again i would be happy to issue you a refund. And as brian was taking about, the final sunday we have an end of season tournament.  Seeds 1-4 play each other, 5-8, and so on.  Everyone will have a good opportunity to win a championship at the end of the year.
  18. One of the best teams in the Major division is made almost entirely of kids that play just Little League.  There are a lot of really good ball players that don't play select.
  19. First off if you are going to put my name in your post, I would appreciate it if you put your name at the bottom and not hide behind a screen name.  Secondly, your information on those two teams is incorrect.  Thirdly, 95% of both of those teams are 10 year olds about to turn 11, in an 11-12 year old division. I would be happy to  refund your money.
  20. The unofficial fall league rosters are posted.  Please check for any mistakes before we make them official.  www.setexasbaseballacademy.com .  We ended up with 47 teams.

  22. The deadline to have your registration and payment in is tomorrow, Friday Aug 26th.  I'm hoping to have all the rosters posted by Sunday night, 28th.  Assuming there is no mistakes, the rosters will be finalized on monday and i will get all the coaches the contact info. Right now we are looking at around 35-40 teams. thanks Jason
