2014 SOUTHEAST TEXAS FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE @ FORD PARK   REC LEAGUE FOR AGES 5-14 (4-13 this spring) REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  AUGUST 29th, 2014 NOTE:  Team formation will start after the August 29th deadline.  This process takes about 5 days, so you should find out what team your on first week of September.  Everything will be posted online and i will send an email out.   The fall baseball league is a recreational league open for everyone ages 5-14 (As of April 30, 2015). Games will be Sunday doubleheaders (T-Ball will play one game) at Ford Park starting Sept. 21st (13/14 year olds will play at Marauder Park, Lumberton).  Earliest possible game time will be 11:00 AM to accommodate church.  This will not be Select or All-Star teams. Groups will be allowed to stay together, as long as teams stay fair.  Teams will play a 12 game schedule (T-ball will play 6 games).  Each kid will receive a team shirt & hat. All players and coaches will be covered under a team insurance policy. We will provide umpires & balls for each game.     COST:   $  50 - T-Ball              $100 - Coach Pitch, Minors & Majors              $125 - Marauder     (Family Discount:  $25 off each additional member)   T-BALL:  Ages 5 & 6 (as of 4/31/2015).  Teams will roster bat. Will play only one game each Sunday.     COACH PITCH:  Ages 7 & 8 (as of 4/31/2015).  Teams will roster bat & a coach will throw to kids.  Standard infield & 4 outfielders. Kids get 3 swinging strikes or 6 pitches total to put ball in play.   MINOR LEAGUE:  Ages 9 & 10 (as of 4/31/2015).  Regular Baseball rules.  Teams will roster bat & pitchers will pitch from 46' with 65' bases.  Pitchers will be limited to 12 outs a week.   MAJOR LEAGUE:  Ages 11 & 12 (as of 4/31/2015).  Regular Baseball rules.  Teams will roster bat & pitchers will pitch from 50' with 70' bases.  Pitchers will be limited to 12 outs a week.   MARAUDER LEAGUE:  Ages 13 & 14 (as of 4/30/2015). I don't have a beef with someone trying to make a living.  But anyone that has to try to dog other organizations to make themselves look better, does so because they are selling a load of B.S.   I'd be happy to swap baseball resumes on here if you really want to go that route.

The Southeast Texas Baseball Academy doesn't need to compare ourselves to other groups or try this hard to justify our product.  However, if you are going to use us to try to sell your product, lets at least compare "apples to apples".  The baseball academy does private "1 on 1" lessons.  You are comparing your group/class training to private lessons.  I'm not even sure where you got your rates from.  I charge $50 for 45 minute PRIVATE session.  I train one kid in that time frame, not 10-20.  If you want I can give you our baseball camp & group rates, which are much lower than yours.    Thanks. 8U Elite team was voted Piranhas Baseball "Team of the Year" winning 7 tournaments and finishing 2nd 3 times.

Piranhas Baseball will have 3 8U teams for the 2015 season.  The 8U Elite team is the only elite team in the area and will be playing kid pitch next season.  The other 2 teams will be select and play coach pitch.  We have 1 (possibly 2 spots) remaining for the Elite roster.  We are looking for 8U players that are ready to compete against older kids in kid pitch.  Please contact me immediately if interested, [email protected] .     2014 Season 53-17-1 Coach Charlie Jordan   We will also have our last open tryout on August 16th.   Thanks.
