dayton runs away with this one. lumberton is a little better than they were in the past, but still will NOT be able to compete in district play. and as far as hearing about "injuries" and "illnesses", don't make excuses if you lose. if you happen to win, act like you've been there before. oh thats right, you have never been there before. there is an old saying that says act like a champion. champions don't brag or make excuses. thats why you guys will never be champions.

jv games and stats are only important to the jv players. these games are only played to get the younger guys ready for varsity. no one gets trophies and playoff berths for jv games. as long as they can learn the offense and defense, then the jv has a successful year

from reading all the other posts from lumberton, i'll have to say the biggest upset will be dayton beating lumberton. after all, lumberton is going to be undefeated state champs.

that is the best name that could be given to the field at Pirate Stadium. Mr. Croak was a great man and Pirate fan.

its nice to see that the lumberton folks have their excuses ready for dropping their first game of the season. its amazing how peopole are now hurt when district starts.
