82 Champ, don't get upset. If you know anything about football, you know I'm right. Tell me where I'm wrong. Come on, tell me. If I can't get on here, and predict that West Brook will get beat handily, much like last week, then maybe you should take some time off. They are not that good, let that fact sink in, and stop crying when I post. I wouldn't say they underachieve, but they have had tons of talent come through there the last 5 years, and what have they done to make anyone think they are elite? How many points a game did they give up in 2006 and 2007 with all that talent on defense. LOTS. Guess what, same coaching staff, but lesser talent. The points per game they give up will be astronomical this year. The truth hurts. If you don't like the truth, either then make your promise happen or dont chime in.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What will I say if they beat IKE? Ain't gonna happen. If they stay within 10 pts. I'll be surprised. I try to stay a little more realistic and not think in terms of the "what ifs". "What if" West Brook beat Katy??? I've said it many times before, I just enjoy h.s. football. I'm not affliated with any team anymore. I live in Lumberton and enjoy traveling to watch whichever game I choose. Katy/North Shore week 0, WOS/LCM, Lumberton/Silsbee. Get my drift. You want my social securtity next.

I don't have it out for Brook, whats wrong with the truth. The don't play defense and with a young offense will have problems beating anyone. Beating Ozen and Central may make you the king of Beaumont and all of Southeast Texas, but in the grand scope of things are just another 5A football team in the Houston area. They have bit off more than they can chew with Westfield, Ike and Katy. No agenda against anyone, I like to see SE Texas teams do well, but I'm also realistic and truthful.

West Brook will have played good to only lose by 10. I'm thinking close to a repeat of last week, scoring margin anyway. My website has Ike by at least 28, probably will be more.

I wouldn't put Silsbee in the playoffs just yet. Of all the teams in SE Texas I think Silsbee on a yearly basis underachieves with the talent they have. Why, I don't know. They are as talented as WOS, and other than playing WOS close every year, don't really do much of anything else. Maybe they play down to their competition, IDK. I also don't like to compare scores, but when you look at what K-ville and Newton have done to Diboll, and look at what Diboll did to Silsbee, Silsbee has plenty of questions to answer. OF, HJ, and BC will challenge Silsbee for the playoffs IMO!

No doubt. District 21-3A is not very tough and with 3 teams going to the playoffs the last two spots are up for grabs. Orangefield has a good a chance as anyone else, their offense is tough to stop, but their defense is suspect. Outside of WOS, there is really no one is the district that can claim to have a playoff spot locked up.

Keyser, that's fair. I don't have any affliation with WB or any other team, I just made an observation. I think WB has a good program, and Stump is a good coach. I still think they don't play good enough defense to beat any decent team, and don't have the offensive firepower to outscore anyone this year. They will make the playoffs in a weak district and be satisified. On the point of undisciplined. I don't help that a kid got in multiple fights the other night and they didn't take him out. But my whole point was missed tackles, blown coverages, misalignments, dropped passes, so on so forth. I wasn't calling anyone thugs, I don't think WB has those type of kids. Undisciplined means much more than fighting, you have to be disciplined, esp. on defense and do all the little things right. They don't do that!

Good lord, whats with the hostility. I'm not affliated with anyone. My affliation stopped when my son graduated from Lumberton in 06. I still live in Lumberton and just enjoy watching h.s. football. Also officiated football for 8 years before had back surgery. Anything else. I enjoy watching WOS, but I think this team isn't as good as last years and will have a tough time of it come Gilmer, Carthage and the rest of the elites of region 3 D2.

Keyer Sore, your a stand up comic, or just delusional. WB has yet to play defense in the Stump era, last night is just another example. Everytime they play a team thats well coached and has athletes thats what happens. Stump is a great offensive coach, he has no input on the D. Since he has been there he has had some great offenses, this year is not one of them, and when he needs the Defense to step it up and carry the team, they will not be able too. I don't know what program you've seen the last several years, but when they play good competition they give up tons of yardage and points. If your feathers are ruffled because you can't play defense then get mad when I point it out, then the next two weeks will not be good for you either. Katy ISD has 6 high schools with the largest having nearly 2,900 kids. The smallest has just above 2300 kids. WEst Brook has over 2400 kids. Katy ISD don't have open enrollment, Beaumont does, so there again maybe your the one who don't know whats going on. Maybe Beaumont schools are the ones with the advantage. When you stop feeling sorry for the situation in Westbrook, and stop making excuses for last nights game, along with the next two weeks then I might listen. Looks like you need to re-evaluate what you know about football.

Nope! But when you stop a team a few inches short of a 2-point conversion (on a controverial call) to win the game, do you call that dominate? WOS will win out in the regular season, whats new. But come nut-cuttin time in November and December I don't think they are good enough to get it done. 3A was suppose to be easier, 6 years into it and still looking for that gold medal.

The Katy schools are not much bigger than West Brook, neither are the Fort Bend ISD schools. A lot of it comes down to coaching and discipline. While the West Brook offense in years past has been good enough to compete with the bigger, better schools, their defense never has been. Then you add this year, when the offense is young and gaining experience, along with a usually bad defense, West Brook is going to struggle. They will be better next year.

Things are getting out of hand in Mustang land. All the complaining about a win. Calling out the band director? I didn't know WOS had a great history of kickers. Then the WOS posters getting on K'ville for complaining about the refs. Mustang fans never have beef with the refs. COme on. Your lucky to get a win, take it, and stop looking for excuses and people to blame "w" on.

Great win for the Cats! Looks like things have changed for the better in OF. I just hope they can play good enough D to beat a team that will be able to limit them offensively.
