The #23 state ranked Silsbee Tigers will be hosting the #25 state ranked WOS Mustangs in the last district game of the year. Both teams coming off losses are looking to get back in the win column. HJ snapped Silsbee seven game win streak and WOS is in a four game loosing skid. Playoff implications are all in this game. Silsbee is all alone in second and a win, with a BC loss, would be co-champs. A WOS win and they would be all alone in third, a loss could result in a big jumble for the final play spot. Big game in Silsbee Friday night against two state ranked teams.

If Calvin does come to Silsbee he will be going to a program that has a winning attitude and a tradition of making the playoffs. Silsbee traditionally puts multiple sports in the playoffs, not one or two sports. So, if Calvin does come to Silsbee that will be better.

The #25 state rank Silsbee Tigers (8-2) will travel to Sour Lake and take on the Hardin Jefferson Hawks (5-5) in an all important playoff game. The Tigers are looking to stay on top of the district race and the Hawks are looking to hold on to fourth playoff spot. The Tiger won the first meeting between these two teams, 4-1, in Silsbee. The varsity will play at 4:30 in Sour Lake and the JV will play at 4:30 in Silsbee.
