Silsbee/Jasper. This one goes back farther than any in SETX. The most intense rivalry and there is no love lost. The stories on this rivalry will make your toenails curl and you can’t make this stuff up.

I would like to say is how about that Tiger defense. Basically, shutting down the high-powered offense of HF which is a tough thing to do. Stopping HF not once but twice inside the ten-yard line. Once forcing a fumble on the five and once just denying them on the six-inch line. A team coming in with most passing touchdowns in our district and giving up zero and holding their passing game to over one hundred yards under their game average. Keeping their rushing game under one hundred yards. Keeping their high-powered offense to just one touchdown. A job well done Tiger defense. TigerNation!!!

How much time is left?

The Mustangs have played the Tigers more than any other team in the past, what, thirty years. They know each other very well, the talent, the athletes, the speed, the traditions, the fans. Each team knows what is coming at each others house. So hard to beat WOS at home. We can't let WOS get out front like last year. I'm looking forward to a good hard-fought game.
