I messed up the previous entry somehow trying to quote...... Fair enough. And although we will never meet up with Division 2 Calvert, the spreads are opinions just like these rankings. Sometimes they're accurate..sometimes not. That's why it's played out on the field. Like I stated earlier, I like our ranking right now even though it means nothing come Round 1 this weekend. We take one game, one team at a time. If we keep winning, we will eventually come up on a team that we will be 45 point underdogs. But win or lose we have still had an amazing year...one that we haven't seen in football in 44 years. It's a great time to be a Yellowjacket.

Well, I guess I'll have to chime in and throw a curve. You guys keep complaining your ranking but..... I like our ranking...nothing like Chester being included in the ranks with teams like Calvert. Especially when just a couple months ago, we were being dogged on another forum thread for being the weakest in Division 1. Cannot wait for the playoffs!

The Lady Jackets were rocking the gym in Groveton last night! It. Was. Amazing! The girls played better than I think I have ever seen them play and the fans rocked on and never got quiet! They won 3-1 and it's on to Round 3! Way to go Lady Jackets!!

[/quote] Well I can probably vouch that the Chester vs Huntsville Alpha Omega is probably as small as you can get.  We don't have a band that our coach or players can change into at halftime and we are playing in Huntsville and those guys don't have lights on their football field, so we are playing at 5pm.  Besides that...it's also 6man.  In our neck of the woods anything bigger than 1a is big school  ;D  But I have to say..it's still pretty exciting..especially if you're an offensive side of the ball fanatic!
