That's not how I took that statement. From reading the story, I take it as 19 have applied, and from those applicants, there are 3 local coaches. It also went on to explain Scott Carter has ties to the area. I'm looking forward to finding out who our new coach will be! From a story last week, we should find out soon!

Kameron is an amazing athlete...pushes himself year round...when his time comes, he will be a huge asset for what ever college he decides to go to!  There will be SEVERAL more offers over the next few years!

I am a PNG fan. Summer Creek has a lot of talent with the recruitment from Humble High. The problem I see with SC as I watched them 3 times this past year is Discipline. When they are getting beat, they lose their composure.

Our defense will be IMPROVED this year.  Have some really strong players returning and some joining varsity.  Biggest concern is the DB's.  Lost two seniors, but have some good players in the pipeline.  Our linebacking corp will really surprise this region.
