I'll keep the players who have to read this blasphemy in my prayers and ask that God help them not be rattled, and help them see that you guys were the ones who never got to get on the field, so you have to live through players you don't know and rival children from opposing teams.

    BH: Please fix your road before the Dayton game. That road is getting on my nerves in a big way.  I'd also like to see some sort of traffic plan in place other than diverting all male visitors to the travel trailer occupied by smoking baby's mother.  She's a big ol gal and tons of fun but $4 dollars or a pack of Newports is way too much for a woman of that age to be charging for services rendered.

    Good win.  I've seen the broncos play better.  Defense will need to tighten up.  51 needs to get the cramps under control.  60 and 6 are gonna look like men playing against boys for the rest of the year (those two are about to light it up).  Offense will need to keep progressing.  This team has all the signs of a good one.  I'm looking forward to watching this group make a run.

    I saw some good things from the defense last week.  I think this group is going to be tough against the run based on what I saw from the d-line and number 51? linebacker.  20 (keener) looks young but definitely has a ton of upside. I think the secondary will continue to progress.  All in all, the defense looked pretty salty for the first game of the season. As far as offense goes, it looks like we're still finding our way.  I would like to see St. Andre used every now and then on the bubble screens to the sideline.  Beyond that, I think like every year, we will continue to see improvement as the team gets more and more reps. 

    My pick:  Dayton 30 (3 TD's and 3 FG's) - Livingston 17

    A Bronco was drinking at Iguana Joe's when he got a call on his cell phone.

    He orders drinks for everybody in the bar as he announces his wife has
    just produced a typical Bronco baby boy weighing 25 pounds.

    Nobody can believe that any new baby can weigh in at 25 pounds, but the man just shrugs,

    "That's about average up our way, folks...like I said - my boy's a typical Bronco baby boy.."

    Two weeks later the man returns to the bar.. The bartender says,

    "Say, you're the father of that Bronco baby that weighed 25 pounds at birth, aren't you?

    Everybody's been making' bets about how big he'd be in two weeks

    .... so how much does he weigh now?"

    The proud father answers, "Seventeen pounds."

    The bartender is puzzled and concerned. "What happened?" "He was 25 pounds the day he was born."

    The father takes a slow swig, wipes his lips on his shirt sleeve, leans into the bartender and proudly says,

    "Had him circumcised."

    Really?  Sumo Sally was at least 465 the last time I saw her.  That girl must have gone on a homecoming diet.  She might be down to 275 by the big night at that rate.

    I know Barbers Hill is typically the easiest team on the schedule and is used to playing teams on their homecoming night, BUT, does anyone know when Dayton's Homecoming game will be this coming season and who the opponent might be?  A friend of mine is planning an event and wanted it to be on homecoming weekend.
