Looks like there will be no freshman game here.  Not sure if that will change the start times??

They were planning to transfer to Yates, but decided Lumberton would be better for their bball career.  ;D ;D

The schedule my son brought home from the school shows the district games at opposite sites?? May stir up some discussion, but I prefer to watch all the boys games back to back. This young Kelly team should have a bright future. Hanging this close with Silsbee (granted its not a full team) is not an easy task.

Is this a mix of JV & VAR. for Silsbee?

In Silsbee, the basketball players that do not play football run with the Cross Country team every day after school.  They also combine this with speed drills.  This type of conditioning will pay off.

Looks like several teams will be without some of their top players next week due to Select World Series Tournaments...Wonder how this will change some of the teams?

Jasper 7 / Silsbee 5 in 12 innings.  Game lasted 4 hrs 15 min.......great game by both teams.

Silsbee should be competitive this year in District 12.  Pitching should not be an issue.  They are deep in that position.

This kid has a [b]lot[/b] of talent.  He will be a very good high school player if he follows the rules.  Would hate to see him waste his skills because he won't cut his hair.
