I think if you got rid of the three point line in junior high and below, you would see more pure shooters and nice mid range jumpers.  Most younger kids are not strong enough to shoot from 3-point range with good form. A lot of them carry that poor form with them into high school.

Silsbee has the better guard play.  HJ has the better post play (impressed with #32).  But overall, Silsbee has the better team.  Just my opinion, don't beat me up too bad.

[/quote] Sorry game results definitely validate: 1.  In their closest game of the season, H-J hits 35% of their free throws; 2.  In a game where the team's last shot decides the outcome of the game, Silsbee hits their final shot, H-J does not; 3.  That 18 point lead came as they erased a 5 point deficit, which I'll have to check but is probably the lowest lead H-J had taken into the half this year. Well I predicted a 7 point Tiger win...but I'll take a three at the buzzer any day.  Great win Coach Sigler and the Tiger team.  Way to get after them in that 3rd qtr.

Have seen most of the Silsbee games, but only one HJ game.  I think Silsbee takes this by 7.

Sorry for only updating at the end of quarters. I'm a slow texter and that was a fast paced game.  Silsbee had to and did play a good game to pull this one out.  Whoever meets up with Navasota in the playoff better bring their A+ game. By the way...If your ever around the Lake Conroe area, I highly recommend Fajita Jacks. :D
