  All schools have great young men...it's the coaches that bring the "men" out of the young men that helps the program be succesful.  Both schools have great talent, both schools have good coaches, now the question remains.... who's better on the night they play each other?...nobody knows till that night is over, because it can go either way.  8) 8)

Westbrook won't take any one lightly....50-7 last year...we didn't take'm lightly then, nor will we this year.

Being in the locker room between work outs with the Team....we had no idea what recovery meant...hydration, sleep, eating properly.....we just played....and did it well.

  I had some parents approach me on two occasions...In two seperate yrs I coached a Baseball team with assistants.  In both instances, I benched the assistants kid...I was told by both parents, "I'm an assistant, my son should atleast be playing", well there kids weren't good enough....This past year our team went to state in the Sr division.  I sat both of my assistants sons, because they thought they automatically played and sat my own son to demonstrate "you have to earn everything, don't expect anything"(he was in a slump)

I really don't know much about racial politics(everybody hates mexicans)....I believe if there is some racial politics,  I believe the racial politics run both ways, white vs black and black vs white....we mexicans are racist against LAZY people, it doesn't  matter the color, religion, or side of town your from.

What if there was only one High School Football Team in Beaumont?

How would we match up with schools across the State that are D1 5A programs?

How would you staff the team?

Who would be your starters?

What would be your desired schedule?

Wow....I think the game is fine....get on the field if you want more contact and see how you like it when a 6-5 310 lbs linemen knocks into the future for four quarters....

I was expecting more like.....we may as well put the whole freakin State in the play offs.....I think the top two teams from each district should get in.... this way we get great football...maybe realign and create a 6-A for those schools with 3,000 students or more....Can you imagine one high school in Beaumont?

As for Dave Campbell, never met the man, but I can give him a run for his money... :D

I believe I know the Kelley QB ...he left Westbrook after his freshman year, couldn't get any play time.  He moved to Kelley, didn't get play time there last year either....with defensive pressure early, he'll fall apart for most of the game. 

I heard Vidor is suppose to have a Big O Line....they should use it....don't know what kinda offense they run...hope it's the old wishbone, you can still play action out of that.
