yup...we now begin our journey to state. We play for Regionals on the 17th in Dallas against Fort Worth Nolan and then the winner of that goes to the state tourney in Waco...

and why would that be a mistake if he did???

Kelly takes out once again antoher district game. The score was 3-1. Matt Kirby had 2 goals and Donnie Carona had 1 goal. Kelly scored two in the first half and one in the secodn and S.t Thomas was left with only one in the first. Congrats Dawgs on another big win...keep it up!

well kelly has only 2 seniors and the rest are juniors and freshman...so you cant really put an age on it

it was a rough night last night... St. Pius is the dirtiest team Kelly has ever played... i have never seen coaches chant were number one on the side lines and then throwing punches at our players... Kelly played a tough game but just couldnt put the points on the board. Donnie Carona made all 9 points with 3 feild goals. FPHS 78 wrote: heard there was quite a fight. What happened? Donnie Carona out of Kelly has a pretty dang strong leg... best punter by far out of this area--- never seen anything like it in a high school game. He has been injured this year with an ancle injury so he hasnt been able to kick much but has done a damn good job for what he has done. His longest punt is 78 yds. against BC... yall should watch for this good in the future...

i think both teams played a good game and if kelly hadnt had made the mistake they did with fumbling the ball or penalties there is no doubt in my mind that the game was theirs...if i were bridge city i would be pretty worried about their 3A district because if a Private school with only 450 kids in it almost beat and big 3A publis school---theres definently something wrong there...both defenses did very well, and the offenses just couldnt get it in the endzone...goodluck for the rest of seasons for both and we will meet again next year

i agree...Bridge City doesnt get half the yardage they have gotten without dishon...

yea...they will show the game on Ch. 7 sometime the following week... and yes i agree this game will be close because johnny dishon can and will be shut down by Kelly`s strongest point---Defense...goodluck to both teams but i thinks Kelly`s goin all the way with it...

Johnny Dishon--- he may be fast, but you cant win a game with one guy playing every position on the feild. There are barely any starters from last year on Bridge City which means many are young and inexperienced... Kelly has at least 9 or more included LB Sean Bean, QB Anthony Fazio (2nd leading passer in our area), RB/K Donnie Carona, DB Martin Fontenot, newcomer Keiston "BIG Baby" Randell, and many more. Thats a lot of talent against one Johnny Dishon... in my opinion many people are going to be surprised with the result... : :twisted:

Bridge City better not take lightly to Kelly...you would be surpirsed in the talent they have this year and what they can do with it...dont be surpirsed if the game is a little different than what everyone thinks its gonna be....
