Back to subject:
BH stats= yards per game 273.3, given yards per game 241.7, points per game 19.9, points given 19
PN-G stats= yards per game 391.7, given yards per game 368.2, points per game 33.6, points given 28.2

BH estimated yards given up this game(based on average) 316.7
PN-G estimated yards given up this game(based on average) 320.75
    BH score(based on average) 24
    PN-G score(based on average) 26
These states represent some of what each team has. Every team has those friday nights that there team just doesnt show up and lose by 54.
The looks from PN-G schedule they never got blown out and all games were close. I predict the same for this game its going to be close hard fought football for 4th round playoffs
There you go trying to inject logic and stats into the equation. All you need is an Indian in purple spinning in the middle of the field and it doesn't matter ;D add a little anoying yipping and some white kids playing tribel music and its over!

    PNG by 1000

Looks like we may get some rain on Friday that may put both teams going to the ground and we are already there ;D
Exactly!!! I wanna see PN-G try to tough it out on the ground or just throw the ball up and let the 2 senior experienced safeties get some INT.
PN-G run offense 173.1, pass offense 218.6, run defense 184, pass defense, 184.2
BH run offense 199.9, pass offense 73.9, run defense 120.8, pass defense, 120.9

PN-G rush yards given up this game(based on average) 191.95
PN-G pass yards given up this game(based on average) 129.05
BH rush yards given up this game(based on average) 146.95
BH pass yards given up this game(based on average) 169.75

BH gives up more pass yards than PN-G but just like said its going to be RAINING. slippery ball forces offenses going to run offense.
Going to be a good game for BH sounds like
If BH has an edge its got to be the weather. There running game is the whole offense so its not going to effect them nearly as much as PNG

I don't think it would matter if BH has it's whole team or not. What I have learned about BH and it's fan's. Ya'll can talk the talk but cannot walk the walk. I don't see us laying down and we are peaking at the right time. We'll give ya'll another reason to remain a PNG hater after Friday night.
If BH had their FULL team BH would win by atleast 2 TD's, but since they are missing atleast 10 players one being the QB i dont see them able to hold on to the ball long enough to not let PN-G score. + when the defense got out on the field the D line is gone from grades and a linebacker is gone so PN-G will run the ball until the secondary. so 8 to 9 yards a run. For BH to have a successful night they have to force turnovers
Always remember, "THE HILL IS FOR REAL"  :D :D
Always. Even the BH band started Chanting "THE HILL IS FOR REAL" after the Crosby game. Wow how funny is that ;D ;D ;D
Even worse than having to watch a bunch of BH band kids dance to "Thriller" during halftime of the GCM game, was having to hear them chant "The Hill is for Real" when the game was over.

Now my retinas and ear drums are scarred.
WOW give the band a hand. They got STATE recognition for doing the incredible dance. All in sync and did awesome. Sorry your band isnt worth a hoot to do a thing like that. Obviously other bands appreciated it cause Crosby tried to reenact it. BAD job.
As for the chanting, Dayton fans started that one and has been a running joke since. Enough for the Band even hears about it and does it. Good job Dayton fans lol ;)
Dayton is not the ones who started that.... Someone from the bump did when they made a thread The Hill Is For Real when they beat nederland in pre district
Dayton just helped make it 54 times more famous
  3. When I moved to the Hill a few years ago from what I will call an upper-class football school I was shocked at the lack of support by the general populace. There was the Diehard fans but that was about it. I couldn't here the band, the students who were at the game never watched it, they saw it as social time. To see how the football program is getting back its fan base is a really good thing. So don't get upset when the band pulls off thriller as good as they did and  chants of The Hill is For Real can be heard throughout te stadium.

Now I heard a rumor that Dan Hooks is being put in a nursing home at the end of the year. They say the arrangement has been made that his home will be located in the Nurses Office of the High School so that he can continue coaching until God MAKES him enter the pearly gates. ;D

    Wouldn't surprise me

BHFAN- It is obvious you did not see the game. Turnovers are made, not accidents! When you see the size and aggressiveness of both our offense and defense you will understand why people are picking us to slaughter your team.
I have seen you play 3 times this year.  Nothing special and BH is over-all bigger and faster.
faster, that is funny.  their is nothing fast about the hill except dayton getting to 54
Have to say I agree, BH has very few fast players, most are just average speed.

Crosby fumbles bh recovers and fight clears the benches dust settling will hear what the outcome is
What initiated the fight.
Merka gettin' blasted.  ;)
    Hill is for real.  ;)
When you guys can get a win against the real district champs, I will CONSIDER saying that the hill is for real.
However, you must promise me that the BH cheerleaders will make a massive sign that says THIFR for the first playoff game against whatever 20-4A scrubs you guys have to play.
That was already in the plans.

Let Merka run to the edge and Crosby beats BH.  Just my opinion.  Also, if his receivers would catch the ball, that would be helpful to the cougars.
If an NFL team played for North Forest that would help them too.
Don't know if you've seen the cougars play, but he drills the receivers in the numbers over and over, but they keep dropping the ball.  Maybe the receiving core is young or something.

And while we are at it:

If BH had an offense with elements from a time period after the sixties that would help them too.
The offense is fine when they get it running right. Would be nice to see some more pass plays this week just to make sure we can do it in the playoffs though. I don't see enough experience and skill in the offense to operate when the bigger teams start filling the box, they are going to have to be spread out.

No shut-out here--BH defense is not that good. This will be a very tough, hard fought game with BH winning 20-14
I posted this on the Dayton Defense thread, but thought it may help out on this one as well

For those that don't like purple cool aid here is some Blue Cool aid  for ya;D There has been a little debate over Dayton Vs. BH Defense so I did a little research. Now I'm going to cheat a little bit by omitting the 54-0 beat down  but just looking at our opponents since then BH’s D has outshined Dayton’s D

Baytown lee – BH held them to 7 points and 108 yards while Dayton held them to 0 points and 40 yards

North Forest – BH held them to 0 points and 126 yards while Dayton held them to 0 points and 142 yards

C.E King – BH held them to 14 points and 207 yards while Dayton has yet to play them

Crosby – BH has yet to play them while Dayton held them to 3 points and 332 yards

Galena Park - BH held them to 7 points and 254 yards while Dayton held them to 23 points and 375 yards

GCM - BH held them to 0 points and 154 yards while Dayton held them to 7 points and 259 yards

So what we have so far is BH has allowed the rest of the district 28 points and 819 yards while Dayton has allowed 33 points and 1,148 yards   So  we have one more game to go with BH leading by 5 points and 329 yards

Put that in your pipe and smoke it ;D
Missing some stats there. Very important stats.

I still think BH wins around 24-21 (that's 4 tds and 4 missed xp's and not a field goal).  24-28 depending on how many extra points they can make.  Just as an FYI with BH and their we're great in all sports....just a quick check of this website shows more posts on football than all the other forums combined.  BH...good at other sports....no one cares.
No BH wont miss many PAT anymore. their starting kicker is back and he is 80% kicker.
Didnt he hurt his ankle in the Dayton game?
No he hurt his Meniscus at the Dayton game and has been out since last week against GCM. Hurt his ankle the night of GCM i guess.
Must of been on kickoff unless he is the punter to because he didnt see much action in the DAY game ;D
He is the Kicker along with the left tackle..

Crosby got shut down by GCM the first half. We all know that GCM defense isn't very good at all but the only reason they shut down Cougars was cause they contained Merka. BH starting defense hasn't been scored on since Baytown Lee(week 5) and that was after the beating of Dayton. BH defense contains Merka, controls the clock with the offense they carry, and beat Crosby 20-0.
He does kickoffs and long distance field goals. And he plays right tackle. Had a small surgery on the Meniscus earlier this year and hurt his ankle last week. Most likely out this week.
