  1. Sorry, new here and didnt even know SETX had a poll. I thought it may be a overconfident BH fan but was being nice about the comment. I do have a clear head. Lets have a great day
  2. I'll start by saying that once again the offense looked very much improved from the previous week. It's great to see effective drives down the field. There were 4 drives that stalled due to dropped passes on 3rd down. So thing offensivly are miles beyond where they were 4 weeks ago. I'm a big ole BH fan too but are they a top 10 team? No. I personally dont care about being ranked (although BH could break into the top 40 if they keep it up) , I hope everyone underestimates our Eagles. Is the Defense one of the best? yep! hard to find another team as fast, aggressive, and disciplined as this one. I saw something last night comforting too. There were several players that usually dont play much that came in and made big hits and big plays. So defensivly there is depth at a couple of positions we didnt realize we had. Bellville is a good team. It was easy to see that #33, Abbs, was just a broken tackle away from breaking of a long run (like the 1 drive in the 3rd qrt.) a really hard runner, but with swarming defense, thats hard to do. I feel very optimistic about district play now. Take one game at a time, keep working hard, keep improving, and take as far as you can. Way to go Eagles!!!
  3. I heard the only returning lineman we have, Rainey, may be back from his broken leg by Week 1 of district play. Dont know if its totally true or not.
  4. I dont think BH need to be "The greatest show on turf" offensively, just get the ball downfield some to make Bellville respect our mid to deep passes so they cant load 8-9 players to stop the run. Just sustain some drives and the scores will come. Like some other posters and myself have said..... we have awsome receiving talent. Use it.
  5. Nice scouting report.... My only statement on this game for now and the BH eagles is this. Yes BH has only allowed 13 points in two games. If the offense could've kept the ball longer (and they will get better) sustain more productive drives and kept the Def. off the field some, I venture to say that neither one of the two TD's, 1 by Wharton or 1 by Jasper wouldve been scored. They both came in the 4th quarter when the Def. has been spent. A few longer breathers in there would make a big difference. Later.
