  1. Lumberton over Silsbee 17-1. Great pitching from Bell, Brunson, Stanley, and Erikson - only allowing 2 hits in 9 innings. Erikson, Bell, Brunson, Ryan Stanley - all with multiple hits. Silsbee has some young players that can play - will make a big impact in a couple of years.
  2. Both pitchers pitched one heck of a game! Corbin Bell got the win for Lumberton pitching 6 1/3 innings giving up 1 unearned run. Hunter Howden closed it out getting the last 2 outs in the 7th. Cash Erlinger (I think the name is right) did a great job for Livingston. Kid really throws hard and has a great breaking ball! Lumberton did a great job of scrapping out 2 runs to get the win. As good a baseball as you will ever see.
  3. Corbin Bell (soph) pitched for Lumberton. He went 6 innings with 7 Ks. 1 run allowed was unearned. Hunter Howden (Senior) closed the 7th innings.
  4. Well - nobody ever mentions any of the boys from Lumberton - They haven't done very well in the last few years but there is some real up and coming talent that will make an impact in coming years. Here is some of the young talent on Varsity: Wayne Stanley - Soph - starting SS and lead off batter Ryan Hughes - Soph - OF/Catcher - great athlete and can pound the baseball. Corbin Bell - Soph - Pitcher - averaging almost 2 Ks per inning and as far as I know has not given up an earned run in 3 games pitched Lance Pace - Fresh - starting CF and fast as the wind - if he hits one in the infield you better be quick getting rid of the ball...
