All this talk about BH not having any D1 players,  WHY NOT TRY coaching all kids as if they have the ability to be a D1 player! Instead of telling the kids that BH does not have any D1 athletes….
Maybe we need some new blood on the Hill, to bring in some fresh ideas and a new mind set. ;)

OMG! You cant be serious!  Select ball only makes the high school team better!.
Any player that has plans on going to the next level plays select.  
If  Jr. is only playing for the letter jacket than he better be ready to ride the pine cause any coach worth is pay check is playing the kid that has been working all summer and fall to improve his game.

???  IF! BH wins against Sterling it wont be by much!
BH will have to play better than they did lastnight, it was a sloppy win for the Eagles. and they wont be able to play that way and expect to win against Sterling.

IMO BH takes this one.  But they may have a tuff time with Sterling on Tues.

;) How about we get and AD on the Hill and let him coach baseball!

I it should be a great season to watch the boys are comming together well after all of their hard work all summer. so come out and support BH

:o Have you seen BH basketball this year? If anything they have size!  Asbury is 6'6",Isaacs is 6'8". May 6'6'. If that doesnt get ya Bounds and Crawley will kill ya from the outside. and Miller is all over the place so watch out.
I am picking BH by 10.

IMO K-park, Crosby, BH, and GCM will be the teams in the playoffs.
BH has a young team with out a lot of varsity experience under their belt.
but should do well because of the boys select play this summer.
GCM will be tuff to beat Rupp will have the boys ready to play.

BHISD Approves Name Change for High School

In anticipation of the UIL realignment and a possible move into district 20-4A, the BHISD Board of Trustees approved a name change for the high school. With unanimous approval of the board, the school will change its name in 2010 to Christmas High School. The new mascot will be the Catfish. School colors are expected to be yellow on red (not to be confused with the much more dangerous red on yellow).

When asked about the changes, Superintendent Poole stated that it was necessary in order to convey the new school motto: "If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, it would be Christmas time all year long!" When questioned about the mascot, Dr. Poole replied "Well, we wanted at associate ourselves with a bottom feeding, scum sucker. Because in 20-4A, that's what we'll be."

The coach may need to add some underclass men to the mix to make the seniors EARN there spot on the court. a little competition never hurt anyone.

I heard last night that #16 will play Friday and have surgery after that. He has torn ligaments/tendons in his forearm and a damaged finger. We will miss his action!!!!!!

#16 hurt his elbow in the PNG game and has been wearing a brace since then, I also heard he may have surgery, after the season.  BUT he is a gamer so dont count him down and out he will still lay ya out!   8)

Not counting him down, just heard he might need surgery sooner than expected.

???HHHMM!  Havent heard that, I hope not. the D will miss him.

BH should not and I don't think they will under estimate GCM! Crosby's Defense is pretty good or at least GCM made them look good, but I think from the stats so far in district Crosby's D can play. GCM had a pretty good slashing RB #21 that BH will have to contend with. If this kid gets loose he's going to the house. The QB (Sorry if this is your son 83) didn't have a good game against Crosby, but that is probally due to the pressure Crosby put on him. BH will have to do the same on defense Pressure the QB, Contain #21 and guard the long ball. I didn't go to the KP game ,but read that they put #40 on O??? #40 has to be on Defense patrolling the deep ball!!!! Should be a good game and it good be sloppy last i heard it was 60% PM storms for Friday!! Bring you umbrellas!

Nope. My son is the back-up. Cody Larson is the starter and did have a bad game. Just ask him and he'll tell you the same thing. I do not expect him to have two in a row.
