Ok. I've watched the video posted on here and the one on KDFM. How is that an error on the 3rd baseman? The bases were loaded? Correct?
It appeared to me that the catcher missed the throw and was trying to apply a swipe tag.
It appeared from my view it was a catchable throw, doubt if T.Smith would have been doubled up at 1st. The Dogs would have had another shot at it with the bases loaded if the play would have been succesfull on Barbers Hill's part. The catcher might have thought his foot wasn't on the plate in the reason of the swipe.

Alot of what if's, Dogs move on.
That is correct. it was a good throw just that is the BH catcher. after every strike out even if he caught the ball he would still like to tag the batter. Comes back to bite him in the butt

"...came back to bite him in the butt." Seriously?? It is simply remarkable how people's perspective can be skewed depending on which player they are pulling for. (notice i said player not team because IMO The Hill has yet to grasp the team concept and i do believe Coach Denny would second that motion) Perfectly demonstrated by a BH person, WHATHAPPENED, getting on and bashing the BH catcher. Who i think most folks would agree is one one the top defensive catchers around and a SOPH.

Fact is BH didnt make the plays in the last inning to close it out. MISSED OPPORTUNITIES. Congrats to the Dogs.

I could not agree with you more LUKE38, your post is right on.

Wow .... what an outstanding pitching performance by Brett Brown! 16 K's and one meaningless hit....... not only did he strike out 16 , but they struck out ugly..... he had em guessing , wiffing, buckling their knees, turning their heads, check swinging like crazy. And overall just looking stupid at the plate.....they couldn't even get down a bunt his stuff was so nasty.......and the best part was watching their coach's reaction at third base on every swing and miss....way to outduel a D-1 recruit and #1 ace Brown! Maybe BH all had the flu ....sorry, couldn't resist.......
    [/quote

Brown pitched great 16ks, he did keep BH off balance.  grayson long for BH pitched a heck of a game also 11Ks. nederland came out on top, but the rest of your statement just showed your butt, don't think you would want someone talking about Jr like that and his fielding. Oh and that meaningless hit  broke up the no-no so pretty sure that ment a lot to the BH dugout.
You must be the guy that called out one of our players by position from the stands.....I'm sure you heard it ...he yelled it very loudly.....Remember? he said
" -------  -------(position) ; YOU SUCK" don't censor this ....thats what he said..........what a low class piece of crap.......was it you? I'll be in the front row of the lawn chair seats if you'd like to discuss this idiots comments with me...better yet tell me who he is or tell HIM to come see me......a brilliant example of your fine citizenry.........Go DOGS!
No it was not me, I am a lady,  but I did hear it. The high school kid your talking about also got scolded buy the police just as you did last night.

    Dup or not

    DOGS in Two ;D ;D
I know Dogs can hit but havent you put doubt in BH pitching. Esp. number one. He has held good hitting teams to 2 to 3 runs. such as Bridge City, GCM, Lee, Clear Springs(5a), Vidor, Crosby and G Ball. all playoff teams this year with averaging more than 5 runs a game.
Who is Barbers Hill's No.1 & 2. ?
#1- Long
#2- I would guess Leggett (35.2 IP) or Wood (23.1 IP) would start Game 2. Next guy with more than 10 IP is Knotts (12.1 IP)
your wrong Thames has started several games and done well, he has 24 innings under his belt and starts most games in center.  BH #2 is a toss up between leggett and thames,  wood is only a closer or middle relief. its been that way all year.

Pat! I agree with you everyone wants to keep up with the other team that's why it's called standings!! BH people always have and always will be trash talkers! Let them talk GCM is about so much more than trash talking. BH talks the talk ? Is can they walk the walk? Action speaks way louder than words. See ya on the field game time 7:00pm GCM all the way!!!
The only trash thats on this board since baseball season started has come from the baytown peeps.  ;D

Exactly wuteverdahillshappening, pitching wins ball games but so does the 6 errors Lee made for yall to score two runs on...Ohh Wut was the score 3-2.I can't wait to play yall again.I promise it will not have the same outcome...
Ohh yea one more thing we don't need Reed to beat yall and ask anybody else that seen our game that is not from Mont belvieu and they will tell you the better team was not the hill that day or any day at that...
Good stuff. what game were you watching? lee had 1 hit to centerfield that is all. BH had four errors causing two runs. your errors didnt effect the game. the hitting did.
Pattie says the only thing that matters is the score! ;D

It amazes me that Pattie loves to ask questions about BH and find out what’s happening on the Hill. Only to say something smart @$$ in his replies back to the poster.
Here is a list of questions I have seen him ask in the last few weeks about BH.

    Who pitched for the Hill?
What’s the score of the BH game?
Any scores from the BH tourney?
Is Leggett hurt didn’t see his name in the stat sheet in the Hou chron?
Can we get some updated from the Hill?

I guess after Friday you will have all of your questions answered, I just hope that after the game you are heading back west on 10 with your tail between your legs.
What's wrong with asking questions?
its not the questions its the way you twist the informaiton, thats why most BH posters are only giving the score because like you said, in a post awhile back its the only thing that matters.

Man, I looked every where for this rule. I never doubted he should have been ejected, I just wonder why no other players were ejected for their actions.
Because nobody else did anything.  the BH pitcher went over and got between the Lee player and the BH catcher. from my view point I didnt see the BH pitcher or catcher do any thing worth being ejected for.

The boy form Crosby is drawing a lot of attention from scouts.
What's his record this year with some stats please....
His record is not relevant. He's 91-92. Those are the only numbers that matter.
??? really??? so as long as he throws 91-92 he can lose every game this year and still be a top 3 Pitcher? I guess his record isn't good?
    Surely somebody has it.

So what does the home school team look like? I know Benny Destefano's ( former Met player now the Mets area scout) has a son that plays for a Houston area home school team.
they dont look like they have alot, two kids hit HRs against BH, Rutledge and Crumby those look like the two best players on the team. they also had alot of E's
