Can't argue that the defense looks horrid, maybe not as bad as last season, but there are holes nonetheless.  But I'm more concerned about the offense at this point; specifically all the dropped passes because those are unforced errors.  If it hits you in the hands it should be caught...it shouldn't be deflected, kicked up in the air, and picked off...IMO (but that's football)

The bulldogs definitely outplayed the Aggies in this game and deserved the win, but the fat lady ain't singin' yet...

Predictions this week:

Arkansas over Bama (most overrated team in the sec west)

Aggies over Rebels (goal post blues)

Bulldogs over Tigers (will the real Mississippi team please stand up?)

A&M - Ole Miss????  Not marquee?

Panthers haven't scored an offensive TD in 4 weeks...don't toot your horn too loud on that mighty Cougar defense as your JV starting "D" would suffice.

Aggies just seem to be off a bit...go down and score immediately then poof...gone with the wind.  Can't remember us ever having this many dropped passes either, but that's football.

We did pick the perfect day to lose, but I'm definitely confused by this Aggie team. 

Do you honestly think Auburn would beat South Carolina 52-28 in South Carolina such as the Aggies did?  I highly doubt it honestly, but this is why we can't compare games, margin's of victory, etc.

Aggies probably would have beaten KState by 30, but Auburn barely squeaked it out...can I call that a un-quality win?

I wouldn't say that Auburn soundly beat Arkansas, it was tied at the half in that game.  One thing you can really never do is compare scores...

Once again, outside of Oregon defeating the Spartans...A&M has the most impressive win out of anybody else so far this season...

Aggies are definitely not overrated folks, they're deserving of a top 10 spot...

Yes I do think Arkansas would beat SC, and I think they're about to upset a few other teams as well...this was a game we were supposed to win, and we did...and when this all shapes up in a few weeks this will turn out to be a very quality win...just watch.

State isn't playing Arkansas first off.... and nobody is going to hold Aggies under 35-40pts/game (as long as we stay out of our own way...see Arkansas game #shootselfinfoot)...

Doesn't matter if you win by 24, or win by 1...a W is a W.  Aggies beating  #9 SC on the road by 24 pts when they had won I think 18 home openers in a row = quality win (quality all season long)

Can't argue about Vandy, but ECU is a quality team this year...but whether or not SC is currently ranked, they still beat a currently ranked Georgia team.

Holman, don't forget that Arkansas and Auburn were tied 21 all at halftime...and while the hogs did have a chance to win over the Aggies, they didn't.  Personally I do think the game was closer than it should have been, but nonetheless, that's football. 

Will try to stop by TxHoops - there will be 4 of us, do you have a tv out there to watch the A&M game (11am start)?

I don't see it happening, but the Longhorns upsetting the Bears would be awesome for the simple fact that:

1)  I'll be at the game, first time in this stadium...bachelor party (not mine) pre night festivities ;)

 2) Obviously an upset would = 6th St being effin crazy!!! 

HJ would beat Kville this season, no questions about it... but back to the thread topic...

No prediction needed yet again, I just hope we can crack the scoreboard...we're really making other defenses look good while our defense is on the field the whole time...by all means folks be proud if you think your defense is stout, just don't get carried away with it = we are trying to avoid our 4th goose egg in a row (which is an offensive issue) and I'm trying to maintain any type of sanity that I have remaining...

Some of you folks are just silly...currently unranked South Carolina did beat currently ranked #13 Georgia...so all of the Aggies victories technically are carrying the same weight.  Don't be haters folks...win and you're in, it's that simple.

And speaking of haters, most of you had South Carolina destroying A&M in week one anyway...where'd that get ya?

I'm pretty sure Auburn's defense surrendered 21 points to Arky, same as what A&M's defense allowed....and referring to the scoreboard, I'm also fairly certain that it was A&M that couldn't get out of it's own way more than Arky actually stopping the Aggie offense...

Go back and look at my predicted score for the game if you so choose....I had Arky scoring 28pts, can't help that the Aggies sputtered for 3qtrs and I cannot truly say it was because of the Arky D...

You may say Arkansas lost that game, where as I would say it probably should have been 35-21(fake punt really?) at halftime....they truly should have never been in the game...

So, hell yeah, praise the defense!!!!

Well last year's defense was just bad...so I'll take a little inconsistency mixed in...

I'm pretty sure Georgia squeaked by an unranked Tennessee team, so why can't the Aggies squeak by?  Bunch of trolling Aggie haters on here...

Both teams did their fair share of trying to give the game away, but in all honesty, the Aggies defense made crucial stops when they had too (wouldn't have happened last season)

Arkansas' offense only scored 21 points and the other 7 came on a fake punt...so technically our defense gave up 21 and special teams gave up 7....

Dropped passes, penalties, etc are all a wash - Ags held Arky to just 7 pts in the 2nd half...call me crazy but I'm really impressed...

I may be a little biased as an Aggie fan, but the history of this season shows us giving up some yardage, but keeping the other team off the scoreboard...seems to be working fairly well up to this point.

Aggies offense won't be out of sync this game, nor will Miss St be able to run the ball like Arkansas did...

I expect something very similar to the South Carolina game...

Hogs will score some points but can't keep up with the Ags...

Gotta be realistic here folks, no score prediction needed...I will consider it a win for the Panthers if we show any type of improvement on offense :unsure:

I can't say that I'm jumping out of the boat and into the bay as you suggest; all I'm saying is that after 2-a-days, 2 scrimmages, and 3 live games the mistakes I'm seeing should not be there.  I very much support my Panthers, just not sure we have the right personnel for the offense they're running.

And Mr. Fido...this is Cooper's 3rd year at starting QB...new offense or not he's just not a QB.  Yes he needs to be on the field somewhere(RB) because of his athleticism, but I'm not lying about starting the backup from here on out because it's what I would do ;)
