1. C'mon Hawks! O-field came out firing on all cylinders. They want that upset.
 2. Let's hope they're falling Friday! Congrats Grayson!
 3. Just sayin, I got my money on Sleepy for certain reasons!  ;D ;D
 4. Oh, I don't know what he's done besides earn the MVP of every tournament he's played in this year. I mean, that's not a big deal or anything...........
 5. What test said that D.C. was better than Prudhome? I think Shawn is better at what he does.
 6.
My story......Well ask me in person at the game in Navasota. Its very interesting to say the least. I have worked for a Fortune 5 (yes 5 not 500) as a Regional Sales Mgr for the past 9 years since graduating college at Texas A&M. I can travel when I want and where I want for the most part. I love SETX sports and I'm a native of Silsbee. I graduated from Silsbee back in 1998. Im a good friend of coach Brooks and Travis. I honesty love all of SETX sports. I just enjoy poking fun at you guys because you keep coming back at me. If Silsbee were get knocked out the playoffs, I'd be 100% behind HJ just like a Tiger fan.
You graduated in 98? And all 31 years of ur life, you haven't seen HJ do anything. Well in 98 HJ went to the state quarterfinals. Maybe you should check that argument considering you make no sense whatsoever about anything there. HJ has three kids that I know of that have had offers to play college football. And, a junior this year that has already verbally committed to Lamar. So if our program is so bad, why are we producing college athletes? Explain that one. And I can see AAW or ST4Life supporting HJ if Silsbee gets knocked out, but that seems a really big pill to swallow for someone of your nature.
 7.

Silsbee has been to playoffs all but once in 21-3A. How about HJ?
Did you win it all? This is like taking candy from a baby!!! Please keep going!
Surely you didn't quiet SANTA huh?  He probably realized it was a lost cause!!!  HA!!!
 8.

Maybe apples and oranges but who has the advantage?
On paper, Silsbee unfortunately(no offense to you Tiger fans but I'm an HJ supporter), but as they say, it's why they play the game.  I have complete faith that Coach Sutherland, Davis & Lee will have a game plan that will at least give Silsbee some problems.  It may not lead to victories for HJ but it will certainly give Silsbee some fits.
Agreed, if HJ were to beat Silsbee & win district it would be an upset.  Although HJ doesn't have a problem finishing second in district, it wouldn't surprise me to see them advance to at least the regional finals.
 9.
If Silsbee brings there A game every game, they can return back to Austin.
This goes for just about any team in the top fifteen there. But that's the problem. Playing well every game!
 10. H-J's star player had an awful night. Just couldn't make his shots.....
 11. oh, well any updates? Lumberton looked pretty sloppy in HJ's tourney, but the game against EC i think it was, was pretty close.
 12. Maybe move these kids up in the playoffs and take out your better players late in games to keep 'em from getting hurt if you were at a school like silsbee, hj, or cleveland. But, they have to make the playoffs and get a substantial lead first, which I honestly don't see happening this year. But those two guards seemed to be doing all the work, and could play. They just need to mature a little bit, and learn to dish it to the post or kick it to the three-point line off of the drives they create instead of just pulling up every time. Now that being said, they made most of the shots they pulled up on!
 13. I'm not doubting Cleveland being good by any means! But, are they really "Second in the State Good?" I mean, this is over some quality teams! And I know they're not in SETX, but Dallas Madison still up there, even with a 9-6 record. I'm thinking they're getting their ranking because of their name. And I'm bracing myself here, because I'm about to get hit hard! However, I think HJ and Silsbee are both overrated this year. They just don't seem to be on the same level they were in the past. All are good teams, no doubt! But are they where their rankings put them?
 14.
Center will be one of them for sure.  They beat Woden 20 and Woden could play or beat the teams you listed above. Are you talking about Kirbyville in the next few years being good or that they have a shot at being good this year if they were to move some JVer's up?  Just asking, I have no insight at all on them.
Next few years. Those guards are good, but not ready for varsity by any means! They need to develop and learn how to incorporate the rest of the team into their style of play. The were dribbling up the court, through traffic, running right at the defender and without even looking at the basket, pulling up from thirteen-fifteen feet. You're right about Center, and I'll change my third place pick, and put Center in. But, I can't see Jasper or LH losing to them at home.
 15. Kirbyville will be good in the near future. Their JV team hung with Silsbee's in the Kountze JV tourney. The two guards can shoot and are very quick. Gave silsbee a little scare!  :o  ;D My vote: 1) Hudson 2) Jasper 3) Huntington
 16.
Since when does having a gathering of a total of 18 players constitute a tournament?
No kidding!  Can't really claim a tournament victory with such a limited number of players.
 17.
Neds varsity, I think will win District again...
Especially when they get Forney back.
 18.

Yes HJ was the better team for 30 minutes in the JV game. They should have won in regulation. But anything can happen and they let their foot off the petal for just a secon and it was enough for Big Ned. The varsity game was played hard by both teams Ned just had to much depth for HJ. The press just wasn't forcing the turnovers it needs too for HJ to win. I think they will have much better luck with 3A opponents who won't have as much depth.
I can name a 3A team that has depth and I can also name a 3A team that would give Nederland a run for their money  ;D
I can name quite a few! H-J being one, when healthy.....
 19. Well, HJ's jv is going to be good! I mean just compare the games. The jv team had something to prove, which was that they are not the team their record reflects.
 20.

Final score?  Injury report?
Hate to hear Grayson out another two weeks & now Harmon out with a bum ankle as well.  With Anderson out too, injury wise, it's not a good start to the season for the Hawks.
Coach Klinger work your magic!!!
 21.
Even though I'm an HJ parent, I think Silsbee should be ranked higher than what they are.
I agree.
 22.

Got the HJ schedule yesterday.........Kountze comes to HJ on Nov 19th!!!!!
Please share!
Yes please.
