  1. Here you go! I can't find the stats for every 3A and 2A game but i have all the 4A and 5A data with the exception of LCM vs Kashmere and Vidor vs Jones. Team---------yards allowed RUSHING per game 1. Central-------101 2. Dayton-------108 3. WOS----------112.2 4. WBrook------117.2 5. BH------------134 6. PNG----------144 7. HJ-------------153.6 8. 2. that would be 73.6 using [Hidden Content] which is where i calculated all the others.
  3. I've been tracking this. I'll post the rushing defense stats in a bit!
  4. Hey HITCH! These are the stats i found for the Tarkington QB. Are these right? com---att---yds---int---td 52-----120--860---5----6 If so, he has an NFL rating of 67.36.
  5. I was bored so i did some analysis using the stats from the chronicle. Here are the top High School QB's in the greater Houston Area based on NFL QB rating regardless of class (2A, 3A, 4A, 5A) plus a few locals. Supposedly, anything over 100 is very good: 1. Andrew Luck (140) Stratford 2. Andre Bevil (127.7) WOS 3. Octavio Torres (124) Baytown Lee 4. Cottan Turner (119.7) Dulles 5. President Driver (118.2) LCM* 6. Brandon Williams (117.8 ) Central 7. Blake Patton (113.6) BH 8. Jarrett Lee (111.3) Brenham (This guy was the states top rated 4A QB in preseason) 9. Bryce DeJohn (105.2) Lumberton 10. Aaron Hazelwood (103.5) Kirbyville* 11. Jacob Karam (102.5) Friendswood 12. Cody Green (101.9) Dayton* 13. Xavier Webb (97.5) Montgomery 14. Brody Trahan (96.2) Dickinson 15. Joe Chaisson (94.2) WB 16. Tremain Thomas (92.1) EC 17. Davon Lewis (78.6) Memorial 18. Alex Moshier (76.9) Ned 19. London Durham (58.7) Ozen *have less than 50 passes
  6. Piratefan! You just like to argue with anybody from lumberton!!!!! I get tired of reading all your BS! Credeur has taken an 0-8 team and is 4-1. That is solely what that comment is based off. Not that he has lost only two games in the last 5 years, although that is true Hooks and Barbay will be in the Texas High Scool Coach's Hall of Fame.
  7. LOL! Your killing me! That is too funny! If we would have only scored eight more times we could have beat Dayton..... You use that "Yall" term loosely. I, and most Raider fans, have never said anything about "going all the way", "winning state", or even "making the playoffs". Before the game you were saying Lumberton would never beat the Pirates. Now, you are saying we got lucky. I think, no i know, we are better than you thought and we surprised you guys. We don't give a crap what anybody outside Lumberton thinks. We know our boys will show up each week and come to play just like you know that about the Pirates.
  8. It is called "home field" advantage. He tries to get the crowd involved. AND he even mispronounces some of our players names also so I don't think that has any impact on the game.
  9. Hey Htitsquad07! Do you know who this is? It's you favorite fishing guide now living in Baytown Ask "golden arm"!! What up :?: It sounds like that "L" we gave vidor left a bad taste in Piratefans mouth. I guess we were lucky all night because Vidor's defense only forced a punt once all night. LUCK! I think not! Good playing calling executed well by an underrated offense. As for turnovers, usually it takes a good defensive play to force a turnover. Each team made some good defensive plays. Do you hear Ltown fans whining about the fumble late in the 4th qtr, and oh yea, Cody was clearly down when the ball popped out yet the blind official standing 2 yards away missed that!!!! We accepted it. Vidor scored, made a great two point conversion to tie it up, then our offense took it 85 yards to seal the deal. Piratefan - i'll be looking forward to hearing the score from the track meet, i mean football game that you guys have this weekend. Dayton by a landslide. I'll be surprised if you guys have more than 200 yards total offense and score twice against Dayton's defense. They are THAT good. I think both the Raiders and the pirates better bring the "A" game this weekend. We both need it!!!
  10. DeJohn from Lumberton is only a Jr. He has another year to mature and get even better.
  11. This is not a vote for MVP of 22-4A. This is a vote for player of the WEEK. No doubt Williams is one of the best athletes in the greater houston area.
  12. [Hidden Content] go to district standings and scroll down to 24-1A.
  13. WTB I use the houston chronicle's websites. The stats are usually updated about 1:00 AM saturday morning so you can see how a team performed statistically a few hours after the game. The best place is [Hidden Content]. From there select your team and go to the boxscore for a certain game. You can also look at team stats and class 4A leaders. I like to look at the class 4A leaders because it is the greater Houston area and includes 4A districts 18-24, and 30. That is about 50 teams. I like to compare our local teams and players (my son) with the big schools. The only bad thing is they do not track defensive stats and some of the pre-district games were not updated. Therefore, I have a spreadsheet that i update each week which tracks yards allowed by rush, pass, and total. Here is district 22-4a and Barbers Hill through week 5: Dayton------227 BH-----------247 Central------262 Lumberton--298 LCM----------318* (no stats for kashmere game) Ozen---------337 PNG----------352 Ned----------410 Vidor---------435* (no stats for Jones game)
  14. If we don't give up too many big plays I think we will be competitve in this game but have to play a perfect game to win this one. Our defense will have thier hands full with Williams. He completes 2 out of 3 passes and is the leading rusher on his team with an average 12 yards per carry. Their tight end and wide receiver each average over 20 yards per catch. The Jags defense has given up an average of 256 per game and the Raiders 299. Our Raiders will not go down without a fight. If they can play 4 quarters of good football they will be in this game.
  15. LRaiser7 - Your a punk and probably sit the bench the whole game. What are you the waterboy???? Just kidding! You must of got all those moves and that speed from your old man - LOL!!! You played one hell of a game, son. I'll bet your dad is REAL proud of you!!!! AND YES I AM!!! VERY PROUD!
  16. PirateFan That QB running for his life was 21-30 70% for 274 and 4td's. That wasn't luck. That was a good athlete making plays. He did what he had to do for the team to be successful. That's what good leaders do on a football field. He used his scrambling ability to buy some time, ran a few and made some good throws on the run.
  17. I'll go with Bryce DeJohn from Lumberton. (21-30) 70% passing ratio, 274 yards and 4 TD's. He showed great leadership! Made some key first downs by scrambling and after getting the ball with about 2:30 left in the game he drove the team 85 yards and threw for the winning score. That is his second late 4th quarter game winning drive this year.
  18. FBfan7 - You can pull that foot out of your mouth now! What a game! Proud of those raiders!
  19. FBfan7 You sound confident we are not going to win! I am just curious. Have you seen Lumberton play this year or are you basing your cocky attitude based on past years performance. :? Do you want to put some money where your mouth is? I got a BEN $$$ or two or three that says Lumberton wins again before the year ends. You up for it mister know it all? :?:
  20. LUMBERTON - Hopefully next year with all that experience from this years junior class!!!! We will have some of the best skilled position players in the district. I am not talking smack - you asked the question!!!!
  21. Ltown_05 ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE LUMBERTON QB? If so you have been at the wrong games. Here are the Lumberton QB's stats: Game----------Comp----Att-----Int-----Td's------Yards New Caney---- 15--------27------1------2---------195 BC---------------10--------22------0------1---------151 Cleveland------ 5---------8-------0------2---------143 Dayton-------- 10--------17------1------0----------72(ouch-very good "D") Totals --------- 40--------74--------2-----5---------561 Those numbers have him 3rd in district behind Durham from Ozen (752) and 20 yards behind second place Moshier (581) from Nederland and are pretty dang good. They will get better this week PIRATEFAN: The first quality team we played we won against BC. The first very good team we played (dayton) we got it handed to us. This week we will be playing another quality team that played well but got VERY LUCKY so we will be in it and i think will pull it out. The QB,his receivers and running back(s) will all have good games for Ltown. If we can keep vidor below 24, we will win!!!! I look for a high scoring game with a lot of it in the 2nd half.
  22. GOOD SELECTION! Congrats Mr. Dugat and the Broncos. I hope he keeps running over all the other 22-4a schools so we won't look as bad
  23. i am not sure what UNDEATED is but Vidor is more likely to that than go undeFeated Isn't that a bug spray  Put the bong down! You've had too much of that stuff. Vidor will not go undefeated.
  24. Mustang! We haven't gone anywhere! We got it handed to us by a very good Dayton team. I was certianly hoping for a more respectable showing by the Raiders but that didn't happen. We have been posting on the threads that discuss the Raiders. I will continue to post on here even if the Raiders don't win another game this year. My son is a Jr and plays for the team so i will be supporting them until he graduates. So here i am! What do you want?????
  25. How is Aaron doing after the shot he took Friday night? Did he get the cobwebs cleared out? If he only had some size to go with that toughness and speed he would be even better. Hopefully, he will hit a growing spirt and be bigger than his brother drew!!
