I'm a very neutral party with no ties to S.A or Newton but who has seen both teams more than once this year. Didn't see the game they played in S.A., maybe Newton did get lucky, but the end result is what it is. I think both teams are very talented but the one difference to me is this- when 2 teams are so close in overall talent, you have to look at the individual parts. In my opinion, Newton has the best player and that gives them the edge. And whoever posted the comment about Newton getting beat by New Waverly- yeah, you are probably right. However, given the opportunity, S.A. will also lose to New Waverly. By the way, Congratulations to Newton on a well earned District Championship. Good Luck the rest of the way.
