I agree that there are not players on here, that we know of, running their mouths.....I was talking about actions on the field. As for putting up 60.....if your ranked #2 IN TEXAS then you should be putting up 60 on the hill....again just my opinion

You can take up for people bumping their gums all you want, but I guess I'm just old school. Be humble about it and you gain respect. Champions don't have to tell people they are  good.....people know they are. You were suppose to beat the hill and put up 60+. If you ranked #2 IN TEXAS. it's like Baylor is suppose to put up 70+ on Lamar. When they do I don't think they will boast about it. Stop demanding respect for stuff your suppose to do. The reason I liked the Walters brothers so much is I didn't see them running their mouths trying to tell people they were good. Fans are way to quick to claim greatness......mid county folks are the same way.....it usually shows when it's passed down to players running their mouths on the field as well......man I can't stand turds

They better win it all with the way they talk....or at least get 2nd. We will see what happens when they match up with a team that can match them athletically. It's funny how every year there is a team in this area that is "ranked" and their fans get on here running their mouths and when they get into the playoffs they can't get past the 3rd round.....all you did last night is beat a mediocre team from BH. Nothing against them, but to them a kid running a 4.7 is fast. I get you had some kids not playing,  but that shouldn't matter if you ranked #2 IN TEXAS.......hope you have a deep run and you better go undefeated in district cause if you don't do either your over rated.

Yes the head coach has to be a good football mind....but I don't think he needs to be a politician.  He has to be able to get the kids to buy in. That is a mark of a gods coach.....do the kids want to play for you. Gage is not that coach. BH thought he would be because he won in Louisville when they only had one high school back in mid 90s.....nobody cared around here and most coaches that are from this area didnt even know who the heck he was till he got to BH. It will take time for the new coach next year, which if BH extends Gage's contract they are ignorant, to change to a new system. The problem now with throwing the ball for the hill is you don't have a QB that can throw at any level. You have great kids and good coaches, but I don't think your  head coach is very good. He's way past his prime. Every coach he brought with him when he got to BH is now gone ( for various reasons ) question is will you school board give the new AD the ability to clean house like Gage did?

rain may be a factor. BH offense will have to hold on to the ball....not have 4 turnovers in the 1st half like in previous years. My opinion,  which means nothing,  is there really is no support from bh fans. Yall complain about your offense, don't cheer at games, and don't travel well. Question, do you really think your team could be successful in any other style of offense? 

May watch it bh......gonna be hard pressed to win 3 games in district this year.

Brennan does not have anybody that throws harder than 85 either.

dont know about the GCM pitcher, but if GCM can hit a curve ball Vidor may be in trouble. I've seen a couple of Vidor games this year and have never seen that many breaking balls thrown by a pitcher in one game. BUT they did win those games so I guess it worked in their district.

It's an INDIVIDUAL award in a TEAM sport. It, to me, ranks WAY down on my list of cares.
Since it is an individual award, I have no problem using the stats to determine who wins. Ask the player what they'd rather have, a Nation Championship or POY...no contest. If you were picking a team, I think > 90% of people choose Walker over Jimmer. Both are tremendous players and were/are fun to watch play!

ok. here is the truth about this draft that is spoken of and the things that have been said about me.  Yes there is a draft at the end of the tryouts.  It was a Central league tryout that had around 350 to 400 players trying out.  It lasted 2 days. Bangor( which was in the Northeast league) was owed some players and had first pick of every player there. 
The draft was limited to the players there.  Neither of these leagues exist anymore.  The names have been changed.  It is pro ball.  Your getting paid.  Now, I was told that I could not pitch at the D1 level, but all that did was drive me to prove him wrong.  I was not the #1 pitcher at McNeese for both years I was there, but was the last year for a while.  And yes AJ25 you are right about me throwing 81 when I was a freshman at Lamar.  You listened well when I told you that at practice. Hope your doing well at Lon Morris.  Now what I want out there is not the path I had to take, its what these kids need to understand is it takes hard work to get to the next level.  Although Gilligan told me I was not that good, he gave me a chance and that got my foot in the door.  I had to work my butt off to do what I did and had some luck along with that. 
      This is probably one of the only post you will see from me, but I wanted to clear some things up.  For those of you that know me and want a full detail of what I had to do to earn a scholarship just call me.  They don't come easy.  Coaches at that level are trying to build winning programs and they don't just hand them out.  There is a lot of talent in this area that diserves looks, but that does not garantee money.  College sports is more of a buisness now than it has ever been.  Those coaches get paid to win.  They have to do whatever it takes to get the players they need that can give them the best chance to do that.

I am sure that the Sundevils had everything to do with these kids signing with a college team.  its starting to look as though kids don't even need to play in high school. They should just play select ball and listen to the guys that they are going to lessons to.  I wounder what the high school coaches think about all this credit going to the sundevils and hardly none at all to them.

ok if you were at the scrimmage and know the rules then you should know this.  That int that was ran back for a touchdown did not count as a td.  If you were watching Silsbee got the ball at Luberton's 25 or so and then scored on a screen pass.  You don't get two tds for that. Now in response to people saying that the Lumberton's "team" is talking trash,  it's not the players it's the stupid people that live in Lumberton.  All the players do is play.  They may get on here and read the crap that is posted on here, but they don't talk.  I truely don't know how the players feel about the Silsbee scrimmage, but I'm sure they are not satisfied.  Any team that is satisfied with winning a scrimmage is in big trouble.

are you sure they don't have any freshman playing varsity?  I though there was a pitcher/firstbasemen that was a freshman.  How many seniors do they have playing should be the question.  And when is the talent going to show up.  Little league all stars don't automatically mean they are talented either

don't blame the AD.  The one that is there now is good for the athletic program as a whole.  All sports will get better at Lumberton.  Even baseball,  as long as the parents stay out of things and the kids continue to work.  Go out and prove people wrong.

does it really matter who's coming back or who left. I predict neither HF or HJ makes the playoffs. They're not good enough.
