1. This was certainly one of the best regular season high school football games played in Texas tonight, perhaps one of the best in Texas HS football history. Central, I was very impressed. I was expecting a fight, but not one like that. Best of luck in the playoffs. Congratulations on your superior season and I look forward to next year's game. I expect a quick recovery and a deep playoff run similar to last year's. PN-G, let's go kick some playoff butt. Look out Barber's Hill, here we come.

 3. Glad to hear that Nederland made it. I was rooting for you, dogs.

The Barber's Hill thread is 25 pages long whereas the Central thread barely has 16 pages. The Eagle fans are just looking for something to keep themselves entertained because they're off this week. Let's just let the Indians settle this one on the field (for the third time in two years ;D)... or at least wait until Saturday....
Sound like someone knows central is gonna beat yall
Not quite. I just like to beat teams the same way we've beaten all the teams we've faced so far this year: focusing on one game at a time. Luckily, the coaches follow that principle, although I can't say the same for many of our fans.
That's great for the team but we won't be on the field so I don't see how it matters what game we talk about.
I'm just trying to keep everyone focused... and apparently failing miserably.... :D
great...a rock's throw from my house. GO EAGLES !
Careful now. You might end up with a few Indian fans parked in your yard. ;D

 9. You know, I just realized something. I think that I've counted more threads on this site that have PN-G as the main subject or mention PN-G at some point than ever before. Wow. Go Indians.
 10. PN-G in a close one. It may come down to a field goal, or even a last-second touchdown with extra point or maybe a two point conversion. This could be a game that's decided by one point in overtime like the Central-Vidor game. But, PN-G, nonetheless. I have confidence in the Indians. Sorry, jags. The Indians are on the warpath and you're in the middle of the road.
 11. Before yesterday, I would have said that Vidor would win this one, but now I'm not sure. It sounds like Livingston's really ramped things up.
 12. Talk about upset of the week....
 13.
Hey why don't you eagles come back to the rez and play there for this Bi-District game ? You know we couldn't fit our fan base on both sides of your stadium. If you think your so good it shouldn't matter where you play. So why not come to the REZ and play us there ? I know we could come to your stadium, but like I said above, we couldn't fit our fans into your stadium. I think for this playoff game we would bring around 5-7 thousand NDN fans, but proabably more.
I don't care where we play, just as long as it's not at Barber's Hill. The season opener last year was the most crowded game I've ever been to. The band stands barely fit our brass section, let alone the rest of the band.
 14.
i actually counted how many times png played cherokee. it was 32
During the 2007 season, we kept track of how many times we played Cherokee. In 12 games, we played it almost 270 times.

PNG Proud is getting a little long in the tooth, so he just is tired of standing for cherokee!lol  ;D
"Long in the tooth"?  What the heck does THAT mean? No, listen,  I live Cherokee as much as the next guy.  I have it as my ringtone, and sometimes I don't answer the phone right away, just so I can hear more of it.  With that being said...when the opposing team jumps offside...IMO....that DOES NOT WARRANT the playing of Cherokee.  They just get carried away at times and, to me, it means even less to me, when they play it yet again. But hey, that's just me ....................and I'm getting Long in the tooth!
Personally, I don't think we play it enough, but that's just me.

JMO
What?
hey bandkid you think the band will be out friday night?
The band will be there. The only question is whether or not we'll be in our marching uniforms or our pep rally uniforms, and since the band directors haven't really mentioned it I'm assuming that they're proceeding as though we'll be in our marching uniforms until further notice.

 19. I'm rooting for the Bulldogs (sorry Pirates, but Nederland is our close neighbor), but I expect the Pirates to win this one by at least 10 points.
 20. This should be a pretty good game. I expect the bears to win by 7 points or more, but Lumberton will give them a fight for it.
 21.
I don't know about anyone else but sometimes (actually most of the time) I am not sure what team a poster is supporting.  Occasionally I can tell from the poster's comments who he/she is for but not always.  Administrators, is there anyway an additional data entry could be provided indicating what school the poster is supporting?  At least for the ones that don't mind revealing that info.  I don't know, maybe this isn't a concern for most of you.  BTW I am a PNG fan.
I'll give you a hint: I'll be playing Cherokee well into November and probably into December. ;D

 23. Livingston's field was in pretty bad shape when PN-G played there. I guess it depends on how much rain they get leading up to Friday, but expect to walk away wet, muddy, and possibly very cold.
 24. All Central has to do is knock Quinton Jackson off his feet a couple times and the game is theirs. Jaguar fans, be prepared to hear that name all night. Livingston's announcer is always talking about him.
 25. If Ozen loses to both PN-G and Central, then this is going to be a tough call and may come down to a coin flip.
