Must not of listened hard enough. Just because he said “I’m not trying to bash anyone” before bashing them, does not make it ok to bash them! But hey, after moving the kids around in the correct position and getting them motivated like the old staff couldn’t do, it has really made a huge difference it looks like. Bottom line is simple, it’s not always the coaching staff like people think. At least the kids aren’t “dead horses being beaten by the coaches”. I don’t know any of the new or old coaches, but I’m sure they both do/did the best they could.

LCM in a close one.

The only coach I know is Coach Joubert and that’s just from watching his basketball teams in regionals and state. Never actually spoke to him. I know how hard he coaches all sports and how bad he wants to win in everything he does. I have zero connections with any of the old staff.

The new head coach gave a live interview where he literally put all the blame on how bad Kountze has been on the coaches. He pointed out that the coaches had kids in the wrong positions, he said that the weight room was a joke, and he said that he is changing things right away. He said Kountze has the athletes and the lineman to make the playoffs and that he will make them a playoff team THIS year. The entire staff is gone from last year and they have new coaches in every position. how in the world did they suspend 10 seniors when they literally only have 6 on the roster? You sure they suspended them for a game or was it for a half?

Unbelievable!! Is that 500 points given up this year in 9 games? At least they out scored their average on offense. How is their JV doing this year and their Jr High?

New coach gets hired and completely trashed the staff from LAST YEAR. Publicly on a interview Stating the coaches had kids in wrong positions, the weight room was a joke, the coaches were not doing their jobs etc.... The new staff is supposed to come in and instantly do better and be successful that year because there are a lot of athletes and big lineman. Same kids ( minus a couple ) the next year in the same district and doing worse. What about in this situation?

Well, after a TD you kick a extra point. Kirbyville missed their first one and went for two the 2nd one and didn’t get it. So they had 12. Kountze made one Extra Point and missed one equaling 13 points.

Well with Newton losing all that talent and some other teams getting a lot better this year, I can see it being closer games for sure. Should be pretty similar to this outcome ..... Newton Kounzte Corrigan Hemphill

Last year it was 7-0 at the end of the first. EC lost at least 7 on defense. Kountze is in the spread now and have very athletic kids at all positions. QB is a Senior but he hasn’t played since his freshman year. He can sling it. Their Secondary will struggle against Kountze.

Yes! They were loaded last year. But they lost A LOT. They will still be a very good team, I’m just saying they aren’t going to be as dominant

Kirbyville is improved this year. They will compete against Newton. Kountze is solid and has size and athletes all over the field. Kirbyville ran it down their throat. I think Newton wins by 13
