You’ll have to keep us updated on him. I don’t keep up much with the underclass teams because they change so much. But, I do like to hear about how certain young men are doing, and I look for scores when people ask.

It was rough. Even lost a couple kids on varsity who are back now. The Freshmen A team only had about 25 kids before grades came out. Then after the JV lost most of the roster they just took half the Freshmen A team and moved them up and combined the two Freshmen teams. So the JV started winning and then the Freshmen started to lose.

Yes the stadium is beautiful. Best one I've been to this season. LaPorte has something to be proud of. My son had a pretty good game. He got an Interception, caught a couple of passes and had a couple of really nice returns. He was one of the A team kids they kept down. I've been calling it the B+ team lol but they lost 12 kids to JV and 1 to varsity after grades. In 2 years when paired with the current 10th graders they're going to be a problem. The young QB we got has a chance to be special. He's going to need to have a big game tonight for us to have a shot. Ill be back down tonight to enjoy the stadium.

Yeah thats why im pulling for lumberton… i like vidors odds against el campo better than stephenville both are slim, but one is slightly less slim😂

I think your confused with the first PI which was a good call but the end of the game PI was a terrible call. We have our difference of opinion and that’s fine. I wish Buna luck because anybody from our area I want to see them do well in the playoffs. So good luck and hope y’all get to Jerry’s World.

My wife and son said this site is my Facebook. Lol. I don’t have any others.

Glad to see Bronson playing after all the rumors. Looked like he had a compression sleeve on is all. But, his movement looked good. I did get a little nervous on a couple of his runs where RSS gang tackled him. Congrats on the win BU!

Especially if they keep giving the ball to the other the team they way they have been.

I was just being facetious because of the X band. It was a good post.

Did you get to see the stadium last night? Also, how did your son play?

Pulling hard for Nederland. Hoping for a round 3 playoff matchup.

No. I think he only has about 1600 if I remember right. He has the current record of almost 2200 he set last year. He is on pace for over 8,000 career if he continues at the current pace or a little over the rest of this year and next.

My goodness. I didn’t realize grades hit them that hard. It hit the freshmen and JV volleyball teams too. Ask me how I know lol Lufkin has to do better than that.

As for the game tonight. Lufkin will have to be flawless to win. I think they're capable but the offense will have to be rolling and maybe get a little help from LaPorte.

What happened was after grades came out the JV was left with 10 kids. So they took majority of the Freshmen A team and moved them up. Smiley went straight to varsity and Taylor went to varsity and then back to JV.

Seems like last week we were getting ready for PNG. It goes by fast.

So ready to see them boys on varsity the next few years

IDK about that, it can be fun being the spoiler. Just ask TC. Anything can happen on any given night, or day, so neither Nederland nor Dayton should take this game lightly, regardless of previous scores or current point spreads.

Wilson is injured. Lufkin Freshmen A team played and beat LaPorte JV last night 34-18

By the way, I'm sure the football players don't think so, but for this old codger like me this season sure seems to have flown by.

See that’s what I thought. But PA mentioned something that had me thinking otherwise. Did they keep the same JV QB? Wilson got injured right?

Is Simon close to breaking a school record for rushing yards in a season? @OlDawg

United was 12 for 13 on 3rd down and when you look at our scores against common opponents I think that's why some Lufkin fans think it was a little fluky. Not United winning but how much they won by. Lufkin is playing 10 sophomores and a Freshmen on Varsity. Get your licks in now.

Anyone know what the 9th and JV scores were?

Safe travels to LP tonight. Hoping for a good game. Should be fun.
