  6. What you fail to realize is that the bloodbath that took place on Election Day was not a endorsement of democrat policies it was a protest vote against the miserable job that Trump and the GOP DID! Keep spending 2 trillion dollars more than you take in as a country each year and start a war with Iran who has controlled the strait of Hormuz since the war hence you get the affordability issue and that’s not even including the broken healthcare system we have. Everyone knows the Democrats aren’t going to do anything about the spending. The orange turd / The Liar in Chief has failed miserably and he deserves everything that is coming his way. The American people made clear on getting him reelected and what happened the other night what they wanted from him but the narcissistic liar couldn’t deliver. He’s a soulless individual imo.

  12. I don't have definitive knowledge on this, but EVERYTHING is more expensive. A few obvious expenditures off the top of my head: a lot more free breakfasts and lunches are given out now, and they cost a lot more to make than they did 40 years ago, and diesel for busses is insane.
  13. DCTX has Montgomery as a 7 point favorite

  16. We blew a 3-score lead against WOS and lost a 1-point game at Silsbee. We have 4 wins against schools with a 6-3 or better record, and blew them all out. Uncle Sal is acting like we're 2-8 about to play Carthage first round or something. Every team in our path can beat us, but we have a decent shot of winning against any team in our region, and especially on our side of the bracket.
  17. Keep in mind, we don’t have a state income tax. I don’t know how the math works out.
  18. DCTX has BU @ RSS as too close to call.
  19. I know they graduated a lot, but they had some nice wins early in the year. Their district as a whole isn't overwhelmingly good. only three teams with winning records, and the third hasn't beaten even an average team all year
  20. Today
  21. Athens isn't remotely close to what they were last year and Canton is average at Best.
  22. much more likely we're playing Canton first round, who's an easier opponent. But Canton could beat Athens.
  23. with all due respect, I've seen enough of your "expert opinions" over the years to actually feel better about our odds after having read this.
  24. Athens is a tough out who we're capable of beating. Canton is a solid team who's played a soft schedule. Their best wins are against a couple of 3A-D1 schools who are going to finish 3rd and 4th in their district. Their result against Athens will tell me a lot more about them, but they seem very beatable. Honestly, looking at our hypothetical road to the state semis, we don't have an easy game, with every team in our path capable of beating us. but we also don't have a single game where we don't have a decent chance of advancing. The region is very competitive this year, but there's not that one team who is head and shoulders above everyone and a clear favorite to advance.
