I think everyone is missing the point of MVP!  You have to consider also what the team would have done without that particular person.  Take Weisbrod off of Nederland and they probably don't make the playoffs. There are several others IMO that could be MVP but if you remove them from there teams they are more likely to finish in the same position they did because of there surrounding talent. IMO....

Give it up.  the collective wisdom/knowledge of the coaches in the district far exceeds that of any single wanna be on this board.  Congrats to Mr. Weisbrod for an obviously well deserved award.
Well said Nash. There are 14 games played by each team in District 20-4A. Was he kept in check those two games against Central? Yes. However, his other 12 games must have been impressive enough to get the majority of votes by the coaches. When a coach sets an entire game plan to stop a player (or two) that speaks volumes. 8)

Give coach Lee credit for devising that game plan. Not every team has the personnel to play that defense successfully, that's why other teams didn't try it.

"Honest Abe" I saw him play against Hardin-Jefferson this year and last year. They got blown out this year and he did not look great. Blue Dove, how do I contact you. :o
BTW-'My son' had 21 points and 8 rebounds against HJ this year. But your right, a 14 point loss in the 2nd game of the season is a huge blowout. ::)

Look I understand that you are a little sensitive since you are is father, but I have a right to my opinion. I dont think he deserved the MVP award. The coaches did so that's all that matters.
I'm his father?? Haha. That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. ;D

Okay, I was wrong. Are you his coach? How many points did Bosha have in that game? I was so focused on him and how well he played. Didnt things get a little sloppy at the end and thats why you guys only lost by 14. I see that you guys all are  trying to "push my buttons" so I wont be saying anything eles on the topic.  ;D

I didnt see any players from a certain 21-3A school on the 20-4A all district team...................................................
Now this has to be the most stupid thing i have seen on this thread. Why in the world would a 21-3A player be chosen to the 20-4A all district team? Okay I am really done now. :-X

    • No chance in hell that this pos is found guilty.
    • After his silly conviction, President Trump has raised over 200 Million dollars!  The people are seeing through it!  Excellent!
    • Let’s see if joe biden’s words about no one is above the law, made after the rigged trial of President Trump, rings true with his po💩son.  Hopefully, but I’m not going to hold my breath, they put the sorry sob in prison.
    • I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73
    • Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class. We invite you to follow our boys as they go to state.  We welcome the greater SETX communities as honorary Yellowjackets.  Tune in, watch live or come to Round Rock personally and join us in supporting the Chester Yellowjackets.  Go ‘Jackets!!! ⚾️💜💛⚾️🟣🟡⚾️💜💛⚾️
