[/quote]After playing all three possible teams, (Ned, Dayton, SC) I would say SC is the most favorable for Ned. Ned has a great D-line and SC drops back a lot so they would have opportunities to pressure Sharp. Dayton has a more balanced attack so 90 and 92 wouldn't get as many game changing opportunities. Dayton is Vidor's best matchup though. Dayton has had a bit of difficulty stopping the run this year which is all Vidor does. SC would throw Vidor right out of their offense, if Ned's d-line could hold Vidor to 13 pts I'm hard pressed to see how they get more than that on the Bulldogs. Ned's O put 20 on Vidor with only one kid that would start on SC's team (Hopkins) so I would expect them to put at least 30 on the Pearl. I think Dayton or SC play Dawson for the regional title.

There's 6 elite ball carriers over here and 2 guys that can sling it along with the most highly recruited qb in the region. Ned has a great defense, but their offense is going to have a hard time scoring on Dayton or SC without any penalties or turnovers.

None of that means a thing.  Dayton better play better than they did last night or Nederland will run all over them.  Nederland will have their hands full in the 1st round, but to say they have no chance is silly.

Should make for a great game.  Why are you dayton fans so hell bent on looking down on Nederland.  Nederland, Summer Creek, Dayton, and Vidor are all about on the same level...  Any way you would match up these four teams would be a great game and I could not predict an outcome on any.  :)

I don't want to look at it any way.  Past scores mean nothing when these to teams square off.  It will be a good game with whoever makes the least amount of mistakes winning.

The only way Dayton & Nederland will play is if Dayton loses to SC.  Are Dayton fans conceding this game already?
