Trinity was getting beat 21-9 and cameback to tie it up at 24, went to OT but Bellevue won it.

I think Trinity nationally ranked too.  You guys make it seem like Trinity is a bunch of scrubs or something.  ::)

Very mild upset....  Two teams that are nationally ranked should play a close game.  In fact the higher ranked team won, so it looks like the rankings were right on.  Most of the time, the better ranked team wins, so I'd say they do matter.

[/quote]Imma tell ya from living on the somewhat West Coast (Alaska) and being able to watch Washington State HS Football every weekend on TV, when [b]out of state [/b] teams enter [b]the better team[/b] normally does not win.  ;) if you get what im saying. If you've watched the replacement refs in the NFL then you know exactly what im getting at.

[/quote]getting beat is one thing. That was a woodshead beat down. Also consider the last d1 4a school to hold that number one ranking use to beat 5a powerhouses. One more thing dg played for the 5a state title just 2 years ago.

[/quote]CH is your typical good 5A team in the D/FW area of Region 1 IMO. Made a good run in 2009 but ran up against Herschel Sims & the rest of the Abilene Eagles. They havent done much since William Cole led them to state years ago.
