**SILSBEE vs. BELLVILLE Broadcast Thread**/Bellville advances 5-2

It's the 2nd round (Area Rd.) of the high school baseball playoffs as the Silsbee Tigers will face the Bellville Brahmas in a repeat of last years 3 game Area round series, this time in a 1 game winner take all from Kingwood High School at  5pm. Silsbee, runner up in 21-3A, defeated Coldspring 9-2 in the Bi-District round to advance to the 2nd round. Bellville, district 24-3A champions, received a bye in the 1st round. Silsbee defeated Bellville in the Area round last year, winning the series 2-1, after losing the first game 2-0 but followed up by winning games 2 and 3 by scores of 14-5 and 8-7.


Our broadcast time will start 10 minutes prior to the first pitch which is scheduled for 5pm.

I have just gotten off of the phone with AAW and he has just gotten word that the game WILL NOT BE AT ATASCOCITA!!!

They are currently trying to secure another venue for tonight's game.  As soon as that is accomplished we will certainly let you know.

The game will be played at Bellville HS tonight!

Tonight's game has been moved to Bellville High School.  Currently, games 2 and (if necessary) 3 are still scheduled to be played at Atascocita High School tomorrow.

Due to the continued threat of weather and possible damage to our equipment, SETXsports will not be broadcasting tonight's game.  However, we are working toward getting information on the stream from the Columbus radio station that does the Bellville games so that folks can listen to that link.

Dang stream ain't working.  But I doubt this game has or even will get underway as I am about 15-20 minutes away from Baseball USA and it has been raining very hard here for about 1 1/2 at least and the line that is hitting us is moving straight toward Baseball USA.
