The poll was out before last night's game so the GCM game is irrelevant to this poll.

BH wins over PNG were back in early March (March 6). PNG is currently on a 14 game win streak.

IMO the rankings are dead on for the most part. PNG and BC are both undefeated in their districts and PNG won the head to head match up therefore giving them the edge.  Good Job guys for posting this every week.  Keep up the good work!!!!

Sabine Pass should be in this poll but they did not beat Big Sandy .. Sabine Pass is 9-3 in district with 2 loses to Big Sandy and 1 lose to Evadale .. They did howevr beat Evadale in the other matchup ..

Oh Wow !!!    I thought the thread said  " SETXsports HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL RANKINGS "  I didn't know it was District rankings.  2 of PNG 3 losses is to BH. first loss was a tournament game, So I will just take that one away, But the second loss was on their own field in a non tournament game...  Just like  " Smoking Baby " said, It Seems clear to me as well that SETX boundaries stop just east of the Trinity river

i was told by a school official that sabine pass had lost both games to big sandy and evadale once ... guess they were wrong .. and this is coming from someone that works at the school and would/should know

The fact that PNG  has won 14 in a row should say something about how hot they are right now. These rankings are just to give an idea about how the teams are doing to this point in the season. IMO, PNG or BC or BH could have tthe top spot, but until this point, im giving it to PNG until they lose a game. Been playing very good ball.

Do you guys in Mont Belvieu just sit home and think about things to whine about?  In the 5A-3A poll, 2 of the top 5 and 6 of the 15 teams in the poll reside "west of the Trinity."  That is pretty good treatment for a site whose boundaries "stop at the Trinity."

Well, when you get on here and make statements like "Just like  'Smoking Baby' said, It Seems clear to me as well that SETX boundaries stop just east of the Trinity river,"  that isn't opinion about the poll, that is taking a shot at the site.  And you may have noticed, I put in little bit of effort on this site to make sure everyone, INCLUDING, those schools outside of the Triangle get their exposure.  Ans as a result, I usually get pretty good response from the coaching staffs in the western end of area, notably Coach Gage and all of the coaches at Barbers Hill.  So yeah, I am gonna take it a little personal when someone makes an idiotic statement like the one you made or repeat from one of the village idiots of the site and I am gonna give you my opinion of what I think of your stupid statement.

You don't wanna get slapped around because of them?  Then don't make them!

Ok, Ok !!  I am sure you know, That we all appreciate what you fellas do here.  I wasn't taking a stab at the site, or any individuals.  I was just pokin at ya a little bit.  Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers.  I too think that you guys do a great job on here. IMO the rankings are dead on for the most part. PNG and BC are both undefeated in their districts and PNG won the head to head match up therefore giving them the edge.  Good Job guys for posting this every week.  Keep up the good work!!!!

Maxpreps also has Central Heights in the thirties in 2a. They aren't very accurate lol just saying. Because alot of coacges dont report their scores to Maxpreps. Therefore, leaving them inaccurate.

True ... They still have our coach listed as Gil Stalbaum; however, they would not have any team in 4a or 5a ranked in the top 10 if they didn't have reason .... If they had our actual stats, we might be higher in those rankings.
