2. 3.
A change to the West roster, Tyler Newcomb of Barbers Hill replaces Clay Choate of Lumberton
IMO ... Newk should've been there to begin with.  Good luck West Team
 4. Go to Ustream & search the following: psnbroadcast22012 I think it is a better broadcast than psnlive12012

is this game broadcasted somewhere other than psnsports?
I haven't been able to find anything?
5.
As far as Grayson being #2,that is a rag sports writers opinion.Doesn't matter who starts for The Hill as long as we get a win.Several kids have pitched well this season.Long is 5 and 1 since district and still has MLB scouts wanting to watch. Whatever his role is for this team, his mom and I are very proud and are looking forward to a bright future. GIGEM
As for the Baytown Sun and any other questions relating to our pitchers or any other players amongst this AWESOME group of young men ..... Come out and watch the games!!  They ALL deserve to be where they are and then some!!  One pitcher/player will not get you very far in any competitive sport, that point was proven with Nederland’s Brett Brown …. It takes a TEAM effort….. We all know the scouts were out there to watch one guy .... #20 ..... He has been not only one of the best pitchers on the mound for Barbers Hill the last three seasons, but also the best motivation in the dugout.  Grayson is the epitome of a "Team Player" (as are his parents) ..... Watching him during the games that he wasn't pitching in, and how he was always a motivator .... whether going out and giving a "high five" to the defense when they are coming off the field or being out on the football field to support his friends after a tough loss, Grayson is a "class-act".  Grayson is one-of-a-kind and portrays the class and character that any parent would be proud to call "theirs".  We have enjoyed every minute of him and our son being on this team the last few seasons.  Go BH !!

Saw a couple of scouts with radar guns on the big closer .. He was throwing 91 to 92 mph... Kind of cocky not starting your ace in a 1 gamer
According to the Baytown Sun article from last week the starter in tonight's game, Thames, is the #1. From the Baytown Sun April 27th: No. 5 – Barbers Hill baseball team. The Eagles have taken flight under head coach David Denny. Denny guided Kingwood to a pair of state championships and has the Eagles poised to win the outright 19-4A title with a victory over Crosby tonight. Barbers Hill has one of the most competitive players in the area in Christian Thames. They also have one of the best athletes in the area in sophomore Kaleb Denny. If Grayson Long can be a strong No. 2 starter, the Eagles have a shot to make quite a playoff run.
The Baytown Sun is NOT a "reliable" source for Barbers Hill sports (well especially football and/or baseball) ... they have a tendency of not even getting the Baytown teams information correct!
 7.

Smoking baby.  what do you think about that one game coin toss by Nederland?
I think when you know your not the better over-all team, that's the only shot you got.  Like other's have stated, it's a terrible option for determing who is the best team, but hey it's the way it is. You can take a pitcher who has a nasty curve ball (i.e Listi former pitcher from [s]Bridge City[/s] Huffman) and ultimately determine who advances with that one player.  It's kind of like living south of Dayton, you know eventually one of their wagons will venture your way. Well, come Thursday we are going to come over and show 20-4A how real baseball teams swing the bats.  PNG has had their two-game lesson this year.  ;) ;)
Sooo true!!  We have already beat PNG twice this season and did it without using either of our top two pitchers.
 8.
Boy glad to see the Broncos get so much support on here for tonights game . Guess when your as good as we are at football , everybody is against you in all other sports too . Go Broncos , looks like if we win this game we will upset folks from Barbers Hill and Goose Creek . I want to wish both teams luck tonight , and may the best team win . Play hard or go home . Would also like to wish the 19-4a teams that have already secured a playoff spot good luck as they start their run in the playoffs .
After tonight, we (19-4a) are all on the same side.  Good luck to both teams.
 9.
nederland is one of the toughest places in texas to come in and play...i'll give the edge to the  dawgs and brown
The advantage will go to whose bats show-up.  BH's record was perfect in the second-half and in those seven games Barbers Hill scored a total of 83 runs (average of 12 runs per game) and their pitching/defense allowed only seven runs(average of 1 run per game) ..... I really doubt that playing at Nederland is going to be a problem for these guys!
 10. True ... They still have our coach listed as Gil Stalbaum; however, they would not have any team in 4a or 5a ranked in the top 10 if they didn't have reason .... If they had our actual stats, we might be higher in those rankings.
 11.
No worries, PNG, Nedelrand, LCM, Livingston....... all will be gone shortly.... ;) ;) ;) Did I mention PNG got beat twice by BH ????????  ;D ;D
It's okay SmokingBaby .... MaxPreps has the following for TEXAS 4a State Baseball Rankings: 1) Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall) 2) Highland Park (Dallas) 3) Calallen (Corpus) 4) Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu) 5) Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches) 6) Brenham

Also, PNG is undefeated in district. They deserve the top spot until proven otherwise.
They may be undefeated in their District, but BH has beat them twice, sooooo I'm not getting the point.  :o IMO the rankings are dead on for the most part. PNG and BC are both undefeated in their districts and PNG won the head to head match up therefore giving them the edge.  Good Job guys for posting this every week.  Keep up the good work!!!!
13. Newcomb, Denny, Thompson, Bonnin - Are they all batting over .400 ?  I know two of the four are.
