Didn't Spring Branch Memoral's baseball facility just have some renovations done not long ago ?  Maybe a little more capacity than used to be ?  Just thought that I had heard that somewhere.. Not sure !!

I don't know much about Foster.  I have looked for video footage, But the only thing I can find is videos put together by their catcher.  He seems to be a pretty solid player, ( Hits well from both sides of the plate ).  Other than that, I know nothing.  That being said, I have total confidence that BH can play with anybody.  If this team stays focused and continues to push themselves, They could definately go all the way.. I am going to go with  THE HILL  in 3...

We played 3 of the current top 10 5A state ranked teams. one of which we beat. We played other very talented 4A and 5A teams as well. I believe we could say that we are battle tested as well.  Here lately every time I read one of your posts, you say something like " congrats BH. you beat are little brother, But now you get us " .  Like we are supposed to be scared or something.  Or  "  The road to State goes through Brenham ".  Don't get me wrong, I know you are a dedicated fan, And I still respect that.  Your arrogance is just a liitle over the top !!!! B.F. - I hope that you aren't basing your opinion on what you saw in game 2 at Kingwood. B.H. bats were pretty quiet in game 2 vs what they have been. I would say it was probably because the team didn't get home until about 1:00 in the morning, And back up at 8:00 getting ready to head to Kingwood. Like I said, i would say that, But I won't because I'm not trying to make excuses.  I just know what we can do.  Now, What Brenham can do ?  I don't know. I have never seen them play, I can only go by what I read and hear.  I hear that the Cubs can play, and play well. I know the Eagles can play, and play well. So based on that, I agree, It should be a great series to watch.  I am really looking forward to it.  Guess we will see you then !!!

But I can tell you that we do have a great pitching staff. And there are about three that aren't even our top 3 that threw to Barney's Purple Injuns through 2 games this year that you might want to remember, As two of them will be around for a little while...

I just hope we all get to play !!!    I haven't researched the history to see who the most talented coaches are at winning coin tosses LOL.  But with BH losing 3 flips to Nederland, I have to say it doesn't look good for us if we don't play !! ::) ::)
