For BH it was Long with the start.  Middle was Jr - Hallen.  Closing was Sr -  Thompson

 7. Prayers from Barbers Hill for a smooth surgery and speedy recovery..    God Bless !!
 8. Many prayers from BH !  I think it is so sad how some of the comments passed judgement and mentioned texting when they have no idea !  I lost a son in an auto accident exactly one week before his 16th birthday, And the rumors just flew through BH. None of which were true.  I pray hard for peace for the families and friends of these young girls.

The option keep was working all night and Gage called that dumb bleep play.... Way 2 go one and done cove
I agree,  they could not stop them on the ground why throw a stupid pass across field with a very high risk play?
Agreed 100 % !!  I racked my brain all night and have all day today about that bonehead decision.  That was the game breaker. All BH had to do was grind, And put points on the board at that time.  That was a 14 point turn around !!  But hey,  That's why I don't coach !

I really enjoy it, But this post is taking shots at the players themselves.  SHOWS A TRUE LACK OF CLASS !    Not to mention the statement could not be more inaccurate.  This Barbers Hill team has a ton of talent, And anyone who say's otherwise hasn't seen them play or is just plain stupid !!!

[glow=red,2,300]I think Nederland is German for "One and Done".[/glow]
Oh, and by the way, NEDERLAND  is Dutch, just to educate you on that quote.  Study up on your foreign languages before you go making yourself look silly again.... :) ;)
Dutch is a Germanic language spoken in numerous European territories. Countries that speak Dutch as a native language are Belgium, Netherlands and Suriname. There are smaller communities as well, in France and Germany, as well as many former colonies of the Dutch, that use it as a first language. The Dutch language is very similar to various West Germanic languages, for instance, German and English. It gave rise to many other creole languages, including one of the official languages spoken in South Africa, Afrikaans. Like Dutch, German is also a West Germanic language that is closely related to English. In Europe, it is the first language spoken in Germany and Austria, and amongst a large section of the natives in Switzerland. There are other communities outside of Europe that widely speak German, especially in the US, Canada, Argentina and Brazil. Roughly speaking, Dutch lies somewhere between German and English (Germanic). There are some conspicuous similarities between the vocabularies of English and Dutch, as well as between Dutch and German. Letters that are identical in Dutch and German are pronounced more or less the same, except that German has a variation in pronouncing some letters, for instance, when speaking German, an aspirate is used for the letter ‘K’, whereas for Dutch, aspiration is not used. Also, ‘S’ in German is pronounced between ‘S’ and ‘Z’, and ‘G’ as ‘gamma’ just like in Greek, but in Dutch it is ‘kh’. That said, however, certain regional dialects in German make use of Dutch pronunciation, or speak only Dutch, as they find it easier than German. In German, it is claimed that there are very complex declensions, subjunctive tenses and pronoun usage. Whereas Dutch has only one rudimentary case, German has four. Dutch pronunciation is quite straight forward, with most of the consonants sounding English-like, apart from just a few exceptions. However, there are aspects of the language that make it seem hard, especially to English speakers, like spelling, and the way vowels should be placed.. Like German, Dutch has got a lot of guttural sounds, especially ‘ch’ and ‘g’. The two sound quite similar, a lot like the ‘ch’ in ‘bach’. Speaking these sounds means that you have to manipulate your mouth and throat, which can be a bit odd at first. 17.
It seems like most of the comments about the game were based on the radio broadcast. I was there and believe that does make a difference. I feel like Crosby's coaches made the mistake of passing when they were running wild, that led to the interception. But the play on the ball by #3 the Vidor player who intercepted was textbook. (by the way very impressed with his whole game) The fumble on the kickoff was the result of a Vidor player laying the wood, so give credit where credit is due. Vidor's kickoff coverage was excellent all night and they kicked off plenty of times to get a look at that. ;D Crosby could not stop Vidor's running game, Vidor got a lead and ground it  out the way they hope they can every time they play. They beat Crosby all night at the line of scrimmage. As far as Crosby's penalties I believe the crowd noise was a factor with illegal procedure calls. Crosby's personal foul penalties were legitimate and it is my opinion that #11 should have been thrown out of the game on the 1st personal foul penalty he got, but he was able to come back in and get some more. (lack of discipline?? coaching??)  Crosby's twins are something.  Conclusion - Crosby may have had more raw talent, but Vidor had more heart and played like a well oiled machine as a team. Coach Matthews made some gutsy calls with the 3? 4th down calls with about 1 yd to go, but the way they were getting 3-4 yards on almost every play made the calls no brainers. Congratulations Crosby on a good season and a lot to build on. Congratulations Vidor and thanks for letting me share the moment. Go 20 - 4A.
Great Post !  Thanks !
