HJ's Future For Next Season in The District

Recommended Posts

They probably wont make the playoffs unless they are extremely lucky.  Prudhomme and Persohn were the whole team. When you lose the only real basketball players you had and you keep on playing that soft schedule, it does not bode well for HJ.  They were totally dominated at Silsbee and got lucky at the end of the Silsbee game played at HJ.  The system has failed to develop players who can "shake and bake".  There isnt much good news at HJ.

My nephew will elevate his game to another level. He played awesome this year even though he was hurt  for most of the season. He had problems with his knees, sprained his ankle and he has asthma. It was hard for him to catch his breath at times.. He will be healthy next year and we will pray the asthma away.

RE-LOAD? No, I think you have that word all wrong...its RE-CRUIT! ;D
Sorry, couldn't resist!! That's what SE Texans believe when it comes to good basketball programs anyway....especially ones in HOUSTON!  8)

I hope the kids will shoot a thousand 3s and 100 free throws daily; hit the weights, run stands and jump rope and bench-jump in weights; play summer ball; and read good books and see a few good movies.
[/quote]Please do not disclose any 21st century training techniques to HJ. They do just fine running cross-country  :D

especially when you have a whole bunch of basketball teams in a small geographical area, and most of them suck, but one is unbeatable, and all of the good players from those other schools (plus some from other states) magically end up playing for the one good team.

He is at a stage similar to where Prudhomme was as a freshman
