After the 3Balls being poured in against HJ these last two games this won't be an issue for them.  I watched La Vega about 3 weeks ago and I did not think they shot the ball particularly well at all.  They are big and fast and defend well.  They are good and this game could go either way.

the scariest opponent HJ has faced in quite awhile.  it sure seems like this was the year that the 2nd seed from our district would've paid off.  this game is a coinflip in my opinion.  If HJ plays like they did last night, i imagine we'll be seeing a LaVega/Silsbee regional final.  If they play well, they're more than capable of winning.  I'm actually kind of glad HJ was in a nailbiter last night, because this is likely going to be a close game the whole way through.

If it's not a close game, it will be because Waco La Vega is blowing them out, which I don't think will happen.

Without a doubt this is the best team HJ has played in the post season in 4 years, maybe even further back than that.

LaVega is just another team.  We can beat them.  They can beat us.

But you know what [u][b]they [/b][/u]are saying?  Hardin Jefferson has been in Regionals 6 years running!  Twice in that run they went on to state, and once they won it.  These guys are good!!!!  The only team that has beat them this year (on a lucky shot at that!!!! [i]Just kidding Silsbee fans[/i]) is also in Huntsville, so these guys are the real deal.

So don't let any of their number 1 mystique get to you.

Good post, I agree. Two great teams, La Vega shouldn't be underestimated but neither should HJ
