I spoke with Coach English about that Royal team. He stated they were big and used their size very well. But he also followed up with the statement that he thought HJ and Silsbee would beat them if they met in the playoffs. HJ and Silsbee would cause Royal problems with their pressure and speed.

so true.  i spanked blue dove at ping pong last month, even though he had a large height advantage on me.

When HJ shot so poorly against Silsbee, the answer was that the Silsbee defense was responsible for that so we must assume the same about the Nederland defense, right?

Looks like a pattern to me. Ned's last 4 opponents scored 34 (Livingston), 34 (Central), 24 (Lumberton), and 39 (Ozen) points. Either all 3 teams were 'off' or Ned's 'D' is really good. BTW-Ned played man last night over 90% of the time. That is what impressed me...
