One other thing have the Oakhurst matchups, thus far in the playoffs, been against good teams or has your team played bad?

You really dont need to worry about Coldspring were overrated !!!!!!!
You will be better off going to Kirbyville and watch them play basketball.  Lol

Check out www.highschoolsports.net. They use the same college algorithm to determine high school sports rankings.

Argyle - 2
Oakhurst - 5
Wimberley - 6

I have never even heard of this poll.  The only ones I have seen is the AP and DCTF.  They are pretty similar.  At this point though polls don't really matter.  Just the play on the field.  Winning is all that matters.

all those stats and 2 or 3 dollars will get you a cup of coffee in most places.

all the teams remaining are very good.  it is now mostly about how any two teams match up player wise.  and about who has the best plan, and about who executes their plan the best.

Go Coldspring, march right on into another state championship game.

The only thing that I am not sure of is the Wimberley Defense.  They shut down one of the best running backs in the history of the country stats wise last night.
If maxpreps is correct, excluding the Wimberley game, Devine had 521 passing yards versus 5903 rushing. Seriously, all anybody had to do was figure out a way to stop the run or just out score them. Either one or both tends to happen to unbalanced teams at some point.

You guys need to check out Smoakhouse Forums. Good stuff there.
Smoakhouse is mainly for the brainwashed idiots in deep East Texas who think thats the only part of Texas that football is played! They very seldom give any team in SE Texas any respect.

Read them everyday.  I normally dont post there cause its just a bunch of east tx posters who think that deep east tx is the beast of the east.  Never give respect to SE tx teams. Until last yr they gave us some props  ;)

Argyle might want to take a lesson from UH and not count your chickens before they hatch.
The difference is Argyle is not overrated.

UH wasn't over rated either, till they lost.

Put it into perspective this way. Two years ago Cincinnati played Florida in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Cincinnati did very well that year. In comparison to U of H, they had a weak schedule that year, however, they were given a good bowl game because of their perfect season. The final score of that game was 51-24 not in their favor, and to think that they had a ridiculous ranking. U of H is overrated. Their 6 ranking last week was a gift. They may have earned it in the eyes of the fans but when it really comes down to it you have to be realistic. They can't compete with these SEC teams. They can't compete with the likes of Arkansas or Oregon. It just doesn't make for a good bowl game. They had a good season but to think they are a top 10 team is ridiculous. Maybe even top 20.

Trojans keep on rolling all the way to Jerry's World!

CS- 27
Wimberly-13

I don't know much about either team but going off numbers I think this game is going to be a lot closer than this. Sure Coldspring has blown out all their teams but it was a very easy schedule. Wimberley had some challenging opponents. I think it could go either way by 3 or less.

I think you are overlooking coldsprings passing game and the trojan D, we stopped a very high powered offense in WOS and only allowed 13 pts, i think another big key here is that , our D doesnt really allow a offense to get in a rhythm, we force a lot of turnovers and penalties, goin to be interesting to watch, i think the fact that we won this game last year is gunna make this a very good game come friday night

    • No chance in hell that this pos is found guilty.
    • After his silly conviction, President Trump has raised over 200 Million dollars!  The people are seeing through it!  Excellent!
    • Let’s see if joe biden’s words about no one is above the law, made after the rigged trial of President Trump, rings true with his po💩son.  Hopefully, but I’m not going to hold my breath, they put the sorry sob in prison.
    • I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73
    • Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class. We invite you to follow our boys as they go to state.  We welcome the greater SETX communities as honorary Yellowjackets.  Tune in, watch live or come to Round Rock personally and join us in supporting the Chester Yellowjackets.  Go ‘Jackets!!! ⚾️💜💛⚾️🟣🟡⚾️💜💛⚾️
