I'll be at the game and on the Dayton side.  I would even pull for the Broncos, if y'all weren't playing 17-4A that is...

interesting game here. I know Mag West is good.... they only lost to Brenham and Stratford. The fact that they were blow outs make me wonder. Brenhamfan.... how did they beat Montgomery.

No idea....  I was at the Waller vs Brenham game that night.  I'm sure they kept the Montgomery offense off the field. (always a good idea when playing the Bears)  I would think they did that with Desmond Richards.  Their passing game has also improved a lot throughout the season.

thanks.... that is their signature win in my opinion. A summer creek coach i spoke to had some pretty high praise for Richards. ....

I agree....  I didn't expect them to beat Montgomery either, but they did.  Their win over KP is pretty good too, cuz of the amount of points they won by.

Dayton led Angleton real late in that game.Here is a comparison of Ang to Mag West-Ang tot team offense 4,725  MWest 3,668.#1 rusher Ang=R Jackson(seen him 2 yrs)148=1,475=9.97 per carry=20 td--  MWest D Richards 195=1,735=8.90 per carry=22 tds--MWest run=2,212  pass=1,449  I think we can slow DR down enuff to win 8)

Desmond Richards had almost 200 yards rushing in that game, and Tyler Anderson had just over 125 yards passing.  The problem here is that Montgomery turned the ball over four times(two fumbles, two interceptions).  I do not care how good of a team that you have, when you turn the ball over like that, you are going to get beat.  Magnolia West is a well coached team, and will take advantage of mistakes.

Los Compadres in Dayton is teaming up with Dayton Bronco Band this weekend.  Please get everyone you know and head to Los Compadres this Saturday to eat.  The Band Boosters will get a kick back of the sales for 11-19-11.  Be sure to wear your bronco shirt (or any team shirt) to support the Dayton Broncos since they will have another play off game that day.  8) If you go just tell them you are there to support the Dayton Bronco Band Thanks in advance ;)

yeah, I listened to that game on TSRN, and in the second half it seemed like he was going for 8+ yards every time he touched the ball.  Dude went off!  The game was very close with Magnolia West scoring two really late TD's(one on an interception return with less than 2 minutes remaining), so the score does reflect the actual game.
