1.
Not just a win, a complete and dominating blow-out.  We will be playing back-ups before the 4th quarter.  ;)
I can live with that!!!!!
 2. Sounds like a very interesting district and BH will not have to listen to the rich kids stuff. Heck we aren't even middle of the road in this pack. Now that we are in a "classy" district ...........Can we please throw away the UGLIEST UNIFORMS IN TEXAS!!!!!!! Hell, Enterprise jump suits would look better.(Not the Red ones) ;)
 3.
Everybody quit worrying about lm im the next 5 years the scbool probably wont even be around. Lm used to be 5a and now they are struggling to reach 3a numbers. Theres a reason people are running from that community. The same thing happened to smiley and forestbrook. Now northforest is on its way out.
You are exactly right, Besides this won't be a story next week after Manvel gets done and I am sure the UIL will be watching how they act in defeat. :-\
 4.
As far as this topic.  Make both teams watch the 3rd and 4th quarter of an Aggies game.  Thats been torture for me all season long.
There you go!!!! That should teach them what not to do for the rest of thier lives.
 5.
I posted this earlier today in an existing thread, but felt it deserved its own... "I've been thinking about posting this since last night but was not sure if I should.  However, after reading several of the posts in this thread, here  goes... I think the tragic and untimely death of Matt Thomas, as unfortunate as it was, served to be a "turnaround" for the town of Vidor.  Many people that I have spoken with since shortly after his death right up thru today have taken a more positive view of Vidor as a whole.  As sad as his passing was for his family. teammates, friends and others he came in contact with, I think they can take some solace in knowing that this young man, of all people, may have been responsible for at least partially erasing the "image" that your town has portrayed (factually or not) in the past.  Isn't it ironic that, for a town that has been deemed as racist by many, it took the accidental death of a young, African American high school student/football player to reverse the thinking of so many both within and outside of the Vidor community.  If I may say without offending anyone, I truly believe that this was the Lord's plan for Matt from the beginning..HE does work in ways we may not fully understand...but it doesn't matter..we have seen already the positive changes that have taken place and I'm sure there will be more to come...I feel that Matt is sitting with his Maker, smiling down on what they see and him now knowing what his purpose on this earth was really all about. Thank you for allowing to speak my heart... " R.I.P. #28 and Thank You
Great post YankeeDawg  :)
 6. Very Well said, A little smack talk is cool both ways but to try to insult someone's team after they go three deep is NOT COOL. It just gives ammo to Dayton or 20-4A and makes all BH posters look stupid. Not sure if you have noticed but BH only has about 2 consistant posters on here anymore. Most of the fun on this board left along time ago and God forbid you try to have a decent football conversation. I want BH to beat all the teams in our district and pretty much everyone else too, but you have to respect them when they send you home early all the time and take steps to get the BH program better. If we do we win and everyone can talk about football again. :-\

Aaronjam75 you are correct about crosby's potential but are not correct about the soph class. The soph class is loaded! Most of the 1 loss district JV starters was sophomores. Varsity had only 5 sophomores on varsity because over 30 seniors on varsity. The better soph players quit? That's not true either! There was only 3 from the freshman team that did not play this year and 1 will be back after the 1st semester. That's 1 of flannigans downfalls, some kids go thru problems for whatever reason and Flannigan held it against them and wouldn't give them a second chance. I think we all are ready to see who the next coach will be and which of the other Crosby coaches are staying or leaving. I know a few should go on the definsive side!
What?? Flanigan never turned down a kid or MADE THE KID QUIT!!... He always made it the kids choice... He felt if the kid let down his team, or himself by quitting, they had to prove to the their team that they really wanted to be there.  They would have to run track and commit to a certain # of days to summer workout... IT WAS ALWAYS THE KIDS CHOICE!! EX. Jacasey Evens... did not play his JR year and wanted to play his Sr. year..... Flanigan said run track and make your summer days and earn your way back on the team.. which he did and did very well his Sr. year and went to a school in CAL and played. EX. A Soph quit at the end of football last year that had a good shot at starting this year. said he wanted to go and train for MMA.  He asked to come back at the end last year and Flanigan said the same thing to him.  Run track and make your summer workout days.. which the kid did neither.. He showed up for first day of practice and even if the kid would have started he said "NO, You did not do any of the things I asked you to do. If you want to play next year, get into off season and work your rear off."  If Flanigan had any "Problems" as you say is he made the kids accountable for their actions.  He tries to teach them life lessons and is more concerned about making the kids a better person in life. Barrett station parents only see he did not let him play. They do not think a coach should teach there kids how to be a man.  They see him as he just teaches football.... This whole thing is really sad!!! Really Flanigan is to good for this community..
1000% correct
Sounds like Flanigan had it right. If ya continue to teach these kids that LIFE is one big entitlement program then they will be crippled as they try to grow into adults. It just ain't like that if you want anything good for yourself or your family. Oh I get it!!! If coach would have let him play he would be in the pros. Whatever.
 8. Great seasons to both teams. Keep your heads up. You both gave it your all and that is all any fan can ask. :)
 9.

When their 1st round opponent forfiets.lol.
DING  DING  DING.....WINNER
Right now we would take it!!!! Hope it is PNG that Forfeits though. Just because they make the most noise and can't make it out of the first round either unless they are playing us.
 10. One thing about Tricky Dick is he knows how to suck up to the right folks and turn them against the haters. Remember if a fan don't like how he is coaching during the game he will just stop coaching and get into a shouting match with the offenders. Then send the cops to talk to the fan at half time. He won't stand by and get his head chopped off like Flanagan!!!!! Sure would be funny to see him and that grandma in a shouting match @ a Crosby game, plus the stadium is smaller so we all could hear what was said.
 11.
TATUM gonna spank some EC arse.............. No facts....No reason...It is what it is  ;D ;D
Be careful BRONX, Tatum has soom BH coaching over there so you may want to pull against them. Just because. ;D
 12. Anyway now that all the crying about things that have nothing to do with nothing "The Dick" is on the way. According to The Baytown Sun the Greatest coach in the history of Baytown(not really) is applying for a job @ Crosby. It seems his 7-23 record @ Lewisville was not good enough and he has been moved to a maintenance position. Should be a good fit if the twins stay but one would have to move to wide out.
 13.

75K isn't much? We have some messed up priorities in this country, compared to a teacher salary that is way too much.
($6.00 a ticket x 5000 tickets) x 10 games + ($5000 concessions x 10 games) $300,000 + $50,000 = $350,000 per regular season How much again did your history teacher make for the school?
Funny!!!!!! :)
 14.
which Price?
Either one or both. Could happen. ;)
