Missing Louviere will hurt, mainly due to the fact he will be out of the rotation keeping our LBs fresh.
Scot Stewart has played alot this season and played very well. He stepped in at Livingston and we heard his name called all night. I am sure that Peveto will move up from Safety as an extra LB against Vidor. His size speed combo will be needed closer to the line Friday night.

Go ahead. Suck up that safety. All it takes is one step for Bolinger and i guarantee you he will get that step and beat out every single one of your linebackers and if you don't have a safety or someone playing deep then he will be gone and it will happen more than once. But go ahead suck up that safety. I dare ya.

I though I read on here somewhere that Bollinger got banged up against Central. Will he be playing Friday and will he be 100 percent if he does?
Bolinger has been banged up since that Nederland game and has been recovering ever since. Central was the first time he took the field since then and he still ran the ball and did pretty good but was no where near as effective as he was before the injury. I talked to him this week and he said this game he will be a 100% and is looking to make as much noise as he did before the injury so watch out PNG.

Glad to hear he is doing good. Just to be safe though, I think he should sit out one more week. ;) Seriously though, I am glad he is doing better. I hate to see HS kids get hurt, especially in the senior season.
Ask LCM about #8 think they had two players get taken out of the game due to his hits.
The kid has not had a flag thrown on him for PI nor has anyone caught a pass on him, and he will  take that pick 6 to the house and make you look silly!

Just ask half the players that play Montana Quirante. BC QB Menard. Left with a concussion. Texas high RB season ending knee injury. You wanna talk injuries we can talk injuries. And i'm not worried about pick sixes. We don't pass enough for me to worry about that. And we'll see who looks silly Friday.  8)

Vidor  24
PNG    30
Here we go again with the Vidor defense getting no love. No way PNG hangs 30 on our defense. Gotta disagree with you this time. This game will be in the 20's at best points wise. By the way, the indians have to show they can stop our ball control offense to get their offense on the field.
Vidor 24, PNG 17.

The best defense in the district couldnt hold us below 20....no way Vidor can keep us at 17...you may need to flip flop that prediction.

That's a foolish statement at this point in the season.  ::)

Nederland's defense isn't any better than Vidor's and we played AT THEIR HOUSE. Look at the statistics. The only team to put 30 on us this year was Texas High in the 1st game of the season. Your defense is giving up over 250 yards rushing a game which is what we do. We run the ball, your offense stays on the sidelines. We'll see who has the best athletes. Do the math.

You might need to look at your man .02's stats on the other thread before you make statements like that.  Ned's D is averaging 50 yards less than Vidors in district and you haven't played the top 2 offenses yet.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
