I remember just a few years ago ('06) when Silsbee defeated Houston Sterling 56-24, then the very next week Houston Sterling beat Beaumont Central 48-30. ;) ;D

Houston Furr last year beat Sam Houston 52-0.

Houston Sterling beat Houston Furr 18-6

[/quote]Um...  correction.  The final score was actually 41-34, a 1 score loss.  They were 'spotted' 41 points  ;D ;D and were held scoreless for the second half (if that made a heck of a difference)...

Also, call me silly, but if Sam Houston needed a game and La Marque needed a game, wouldn't it have been easier for Jackson and Chinea just to say, "let's play" rather than splitting up an already scheduled game to get an opponent for Week 2?

Chinea coaches at Sterling so in order for that to work Sterling had to pull out of the game with Ozen and give it to Sam Houston. 
So Ozen is playing Sam Houston at Barnett
