Man, I dont want Toby to leave WOS he has an unbelievable offensive sceme. However, hes a friend and I respect him. He wants to better himself by getting a HC/AD position, then go get it brother. His ambition and win-or-nothing attitude is what makes him such a great coach. Also, what he does for his players is uncanny. That guy has paraded kids around(On his own money with his own car) trying to get them scholarships (after they graduated of couse). He is a players coach with a WOS dicipline mind. Its a win win. But, man I hope he doesnt leave us. With him at OC and Coach Thompson as HC/AD and maybe MARK Foreman as DC here at WOS, whew, we would have the best staff in the state!!

I heard that Coach T is still going to be the defensive coordinator! I doubt it if Coach Mark Foreman is going to be the DC.

IS it just me or is everyone pushing Foreman out of WOS??? Last 2 Ecc hires had hc experience. That trend wont end!!! Hey WOS lovers maybe Foreman likes his gravy train of athletes at WOS and would like to stay!!! Keep him, he's a good coach!

PAM Poster I was merely saying that no one from PAM should be putting down G-ball for being unruly. Let's be honest if yall had discipline yall would be north shore.

ECC has done nothing but WIN since Andy Evans put his stamp on that Program. Whoever gets this job better be ready to continue this tradition.

Nobody is trying to push Toby Foreman out of West Orange.  He is a heck of a coach and if at the beginning of the 2012 season he is on the coaching staff at West Orange-Stark, then that is just that much more bad news for Mustang opponents.

However, given his activity as far as applying for area head coaching jobs, and being named finalist for one of them, Coach Foreman believes that his career has progressed to the point where he is ready to head his own program rather than remain an assistant.  And unless something funny happens on Tuesday, we know that head coaching opportunity won't be available at WO-S for the next few years. As you said, Go-rilla, we know he is good coach and one who we are sure would be able to continue the Buccaneers' winning ways if the powers that be in Winnie selected him.

Not sure if he will apply at EC but if not I see him heading to Texas High as an assistant.

He is applying.

The Texas High job is intriguing, but IMO, Coach T cannot hold on for too many years at WOS.  If Foreman can stay in the area, then he would be able to jump back to WOS when Thompson retires.  In the meantime, EC gets a good young mind who will advance their program to greater heights than it has now!  And dont' fire back with the argument that "we don't want a coach who has his eye on another job."  All coaches have their eye on the next rung.  It's just part of the business.

All you guys are funny.  The job has not even been posted and Valastro has not even turned in a letter of resignation and you have the replacement in line.  Good stuff.  [b]Lets all just hope they do the right thing.

And what would that be?

wackpack knows what he is talking about
we keep trying to tell you guys but you dont listen
[/quote]

Like I said, the choice may have been made already. But that will not keep many from applying for the job and will not stop any discussion on who folks think would be the best for the job.

Trust me, I am listening, I "hear" things. ;)

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
