WOSgrad Posted December 18, 2010 Report Share Posted December 18, 2010 I have just received word from Mike Sanchez, voice of the Silsbee Tigers, that Boys Basketball Head Coach Travis Williams suffered a heart attack during the trip home from Jasper, where the Tigers had defeated the Bulldogs, 65-48 earlier in the evening.Coach Williams was transported to Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont where tests confirmed that he had suffered a heart attack. He remains hospitalized and while his current condition is unknown, we do not have any word that his life is in immediate danger.Stay tuned to SETXsports as we will hopefully have more details later today and keep Coach Williams, his family and the Tigers in your prayers. Coach Williams, we pray for your cardiologist to roto-rooter your coronaries, fix you up better than you've been in twenty years, and get you back on the basketball court/dance floor by the playoffs! Coach Williams is resting comfortably in the hospital, the IV's aside, is doing okay.
