dirtball Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 As a follow up, interesting read on the rankings of this years signing classes nationwide is provided by perfect game today. SEC dominates the top 10 classes, but then they will also be fragmented by the 2011 draft. I mentioned UH having a great signing class, being they will most likely have their commits hit campus, that means alot. OF Keegan Sanford (Westbury Christian) is relatively unknown but has 55 plus tools in power and speed. Keep an eye on him. Great job by their staff especially in transition. Texas AM should retain most of their class except Mengden (Westside) as his two way tools will be hard for scouts to pass on. Rice will possibly lose McFarland (Lufkin), highly rated but will move to 3b possibly OF with his speed at next level. Texas will be decimated by their top tier signees to draft, but will likely keep a couple because of agent/money demands. TCU faired well, could not capitalize on their Omaha appearence with Whitting's departure. Toads still came up with classy bunch, will compete in Mountain Conference. Baylor made a lot of real late moves, wait and see on that class. Interesting grouping by PG, gives everyone something to talk about. Let it fly. .
